Oh man, what wouldnt i give for a mix inbetween Anno 1800 and cities skylines. Like building my own city in the era of the industrial revolution with the scale of cities skylines.
ОтветитьIs there a mod that enhances the cloud textures. I have the base game and noticed in the video clouds off in the horizon which are not in my game. Thanks
Ответить"Basically its just a really pretty Excel spreadsheet" ouch, that hurt a lot 😅
ОтветитьI just stumbled upon that video and have to say: lovely what you could bring out of our game. Btw. Jakob of the Jakob's collection now works for Ubisoft in the Anno team :)
ОтветитьSo Anno 1800 isn't a City Builder like SimCity or Skylines because of the lak of ornaments and variety in buildings? The entire video I only see ornaments and retextured buildings, nothing else that introduces gameplay features from SimCity or Skylines like a working public transportation system which on its own would ad a giant bunch of interlocking subsystems and such stuff and Anno 1800 does have some new (if very simple compared to SimCity and Skylines) street features. Anno 1800 can with a bunch of mods be turned into super complex city builder and manager but what I got from your video is merely putting together a pretty looking City with a lot of unique if useles ornaments and variations to make screenshots and as you said yourself you get that from Creative Mode! Placing ornaments is not something that Simcity or Skylines are known for but for their space, recourse and logistics management, pretty much the same gameplay genre as Anno 1800. What you are describing is a dressup game with Cities instead of people.
The Anno Series, Simcity and Skylines "are Actuel City Builders", what you are trying to sell is just an art game to paint pretty Cities and you don't need a game for that just get Photoshop or even Windows Paint and place the graphics of the buildings and stuff on the canvas with that.
Your desire for pretty looking Cities is alright and I don't have anything against it but you should name your video accordingly: "Mods to make Creative Mode of Anno 1800 perfect". Otherwhise people end up confused and seeing actual gameplay, progression and challenge as a hassle and just want a game for it's creative mode. Imagine Need For Speed but you don't need to unlock new cars and can just use all of them instantly, sounds pretty boring right?
Seeing this makes me think about what version of Anno that i should buy? Can somebody recommend me the edition to start Anno for the first time? since it's currently on steam sale and about 35 USD for the Complete Edition (My English is kinda bad sorry)
ОтветитьLoved this.
ОтветитьThank you for showing this, and pinning the list of mods.
I'm a fairly new player who likes city building more than the resource balancing, and I keep getting stuck around engineers, and losing interest in the game. Trying the creative mode with these mods made it feel like fun again.
Hey Taka, love this video. I'm new recently to your channel. Have gone through some of your guiding videos. And I must say, I really find them helpful to my playing in Anno 1800. Thank you so much for the time to do them. Really appreciate it.. Greetings from Denmark
Ответитьthe factory complex idea is really cool, rather than having same building all over the place combine multiple of them and make a complex, that should be in official game.
ОтветитьThanks Taka for the super clear explanation and renewed inspiration! My fingers are itching again for some Anno sessions 😎😎
ОтветитьHmm it doesn't let me join your discord. Thanks anyways for the new information.
ОтветитьI'm interested in buying the game for this reason, allowing me to play around with city aesthetics with no restraints. Would everything be available to be used in that mode, or would I still have to purchase DLC to get their respective buildings?
ОтветитьI really miss your play through really hope you do one soone
ОтветитьJackob Collection is awesome
Ответитьthnx. i think i will download a lot of these mods. i hope u speak later about other gameplay-changing mods. cuz the game really not only lacks variation but also forces the player to build and stack their building and factory close to each other to be in the range of trade unions, townhall or shops. even Hacienda.
Ответитьcant wait for Anno 1940.
world war stuff
Asking as a complete novice to 1800 modding - Would it be possible to mod in islands the size of a certain Cape DLC? That's always been my biggest gripe when diving into the game on occasion. Always feeling like I'm being pushed to build a city there everytime, THE city. In spite of using mods to double housing capacity and such to conserve space.
ОтветитьYour enthusiasm is the best of this video! Love to hear your voice so vivid. 😊
ОтветитьI haven't played Anno for a while now, I had no idea about creative mode - Thank you so much!! I'm definitely going to play with these mods and get the game re-installed. Bookmarked this vid for future reference! :D
ОтветитьThe greco-roman-type building is the old national gallery in Berlin. Nicely done asset!
Ответить"Gasparov church" is, actually, the St.Vladimir cathedral from Kiev.
ОтветитьAnno 1800 : Modders Strike Back DLC 😂
ОтветитьWill you be doing a Creative Mode series? I love how you build your cities and would love to see what you create❤
ОтветитьHey man just wanna say I have been watching some of your videos on how to save your game where you are losing money and it has helped a crap ton. Giving a sub to the channel and plan to watch and support more of your videos. Thanks for all the information on game!!
ОтветитьWell, now to see if Taka ends up doing a creative mode playthrough just to build a pretty city
ОтветитьAwesome Taka. I didn't have muggs bar mod - der! no wonder it wasn't working! Thank you for this info.
ОтветитьI WANT TO PLAY ANNO 1800!! 😭 & ANNO 1404 AS WELL!! 😢❤
ОтветитьI just wish they would drop the stupid DMR crap it slows my game down
Ответитьprobably the best game i have ever played
ОтветитьThere's a ton of black screen at the end. lol, no worries about that obviously, just an observation.
ОтветитьI have so many great memories with this game. I love Anno 1800.
