The Muay Thai jab is so strange compared to a boxing jab. The boxing jab is usually really snappy and more about volume and distance management. In MT there’s not much use for that bc the teep kinda does that already and arguably it’s more effective and powerful. But the MT jab is stiff as fuck and it looks like they’re trying to push all the way through rather than snap it back. It’s like a teep with hands lmao if that makes any sense.

So what do he do, his best technique, keep pushing back. Let the guy come in and you just push him back, wear him out, lose his spirit, knowing he can't get in for that knock he so obsess to get it only to realize he's hurting.
