I've been following the Covid19 videos of Dr. John Campbell and I was wondering how I could do what he does, that is, switch back and forth from a headshot of yourself and an overhead shot of a piece of paper I am writing on. He seems to just push a button on what looks like an overhead projector in order to switch views.

This is possible through any alerts system or even just inside obs using webm files.

You can edit a video using olive and export a transparent webm file for any alert system.
