It's funny seeing westerners be weirded out by sweet avocado stuff considering in my country avocado is more of a dessert thing, like a sweet thing, not a savory thing like guacamole so it's fascinating how different parts of the world use one ingredient only one way and be weirded out by another

Avocado has an egglike Flavor to me.....idn why but it always has. Technically, when avocado gets hot it is considered rancid. That Flavor comes off to me as being very egglike the moment it gets past a certain temp. That being said... avocado ice-cream also tastes rather eggy to me for some reason... who knows.

Me as a Filipino grew up having avocado as dessert. It baffles me when other countries prefer it as a savory food. But thankfully, I quite have an open palate where I appreciate new foods than the usual Filipino palate.

This might be the non American in me. But why is there soo much sugar in the “bread”. The whole point of sugar in bread is to activate the yeast. But that looked like so much. And then no salt to balance the sugar? Is American bread sweet?
