LG C2 OLED TV Six Months Later Review - The Best OLED TV?

Fantastic review! I'm ordering the 48" C2 tomorrow. Currently it's £799 at Richer Sounds. I'm adding the Apple TV 4K to it and plan on using it solely for movies and surfing films/vlogs :) I think that it will be awesome!

GUYS PLZ HELP ME BETWEEN LG C2 AND SONY A80K AS THE ONLY THING STOPPING ME FOR A80K IS THE BRIGHTNESS .BUT IS IT THT BAS AGAINST C2 THT I GO FOR C2 OR A 80K IS GOOD.

Getting my 48" LG C2 Evo tomorrow, been watching a 2013 1080p Philips LED for some time now. Excited to see how much better this is, been hearing only good things. Seems like one of the best pictures money can buy.

Got a great deal on this for Prime Day. The main thing I don't like is the long start up time, but your other video showed me how to hack it to start on HDMI 1 with the hotel menu, so I'm a happy customer! 👍 We hadn't bought a new TV for about 10 years, so it's a big upgrade.

My 65" variant arrived today and after having the last 55" Samsung TV for over 7 years, you don't half get the wow factor when unboxing the LG OLED TV and switching it on for the first time. Its also good to hear some positivity from someone who's owned one for over 6 months too. Thank you.

I can't imagine worrying about clarity details on a screen smaller than 65"

I wonder if it is possible to use LG C1 stand for 65inch LG C2? That last year stand looks way better for me

It has more features than I would ever use
Previous TV was a 40"Samsung LCD and the 48"is only 50mm extra width due to the frameless screen

Hi thanks for the great video, I have a Samsung qn94 but am thinking of getting a 65" c2. My last oled was the cx how do these tvs compare? I loved the cx pictures but they did lack a touch of brightness at times. Thank you

C2 is a rockstar, using mine as workstation monitor and for gaming/media. Its on an extending arm, so i pull it out and sit on a couch. Fantastic dual use of money 2 birds 1 stone

Great reviews. (LG C2 55") I found your review and advice on settings for this LG C2 a great help as well. The Pink issue -- I purchased my LG C2 at Costco. First thing I noticed was the Pink, almost Red tinting -- terrible. Watching AGT, and the pink+ and red facials were about as annoying as you could get. I was ready to repack it back to Costco -- great 90 return -- but found your presentation and followed your set up settings -- way better. So, I have 88 days to return it. I will follow your channel, thanks, just what I needed. I have another LG i paid less than half what I paid for this one -- an LED and it has a really good picture too, but about 5 years old (my excuse for updating), but I am not a gamer, and personally, I do not see double my money on this, yet. One thing stands out, for me, a casual, news all day kinda watcher, and that is the Sound. The sound on this C2 is fantastic (I am not an audiophile either). The older LG we had to have the words up (CC) and we were constantly asking each other, "What did he say?" -- not with this C2. Best speakers and sound we have ever had on any TV, love it. Bought the 65 inch a few weeks ago. The word breathtaking isn’t even close to doing it justice. I can’t imagine buying anything other than an OLED now

Just got C2 55'' for 1000$ !!

Those bezzels seems too think to be a LG C2 screen.
Also, sound bars are just a marketing meme and not really worth it. Any solid stereo monitor system with decent dac/amp combo will blow them away.

I'm thinking about buying this TV and I've watched loads of reviews, your review was by far the best. Short and straight to the point. Lovely stuff.

Hi man, after almost 1 year you have, may i ask you if you wd reccomend me this one or save money and go with lg CS oled . The difference here in italy is about 300-400 € and i’m bit confused.

I bought the 42" and it's used as a Monitor / TV for the office. The stock speakers on the 42 are not great on the C2. No issue because I have good speakers and headset.
The C3s are out so the my C2 listed at $1200. I paid $835 for black friday and now 2/1/23 and $800 or below. Great Deal!

After 3 years of normal TV use, my high end LG Oled
65E7P has burn in and color shading all over. To make
things worse LG has refused to repair it since it's out
of warranty. They claim 40,000 hours of life, but I
have less than a 1/4 of that. Very disappointed with LG
Oled quality and LG customer service, think twice
before dropping your hard earned money on an LG
Oled.

This would be my first Oled purchase, I’m thinking of getting the 55” G2 over the C2 ($300) price difference, the G2 has heat sync and comes with a wall mount plus 5 year manufacturer warranty. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the video. Bought one of these on Friday. Haven't set it up yet, as I've got a Sony Bravia 43" for sale, so left it set up for a couple days. My wife did not want a bigger screen, but as this LG has a much lower stand,so I've got away with it. As manuals are not supplied, a users review is very helpful. After watching your review , quite excited to set it up tomorrow.

Im about to buy the exact same TV 48". It's gonna be my first oled. My last tv is budget LED samsung. My only concern is the brightness and the reflections. There are 2 pairs of curtains in my living room. I never saw reflections on my led tv.
And what do you think about this TV for movies/tv shows only is it worth it? Thanks in advance and please excuse my english 😬

Jan 2023 - Just bought ourselves the C2 55" Its superb'.

Ive been looking at getting a new tv for awhile now ive been stuck lingering around the c2 g2 and s95b but im seeing so many negative things about the Samsung warping interface issues bricking all sorts which has thrown me off as picture wise that tv is ment to be the best on the market! Which leaves me with the c2 and g2 the c2 ive found for 949 at 55” which is pretty good has everything id want but im unfortunately someone who’s extremely worried with burn in which is where the g2 comes in with apparently features and warranty against burn in for 5 years 1st year being free then after that labour costs but panel is still free! but the c2 can be purchased with a 5 year warranty that covers burn in at john lewis plus the damn g2 dont come with a stand so id have to buy a generic one. Im stuck on what to get! I currently have a 7 year old sony kdl-50w755c which does look very good a few people have said to me is it UHD!

I was going to get this, but I hated how dim the picture was in HDR and even worse in SDR. So then I looked at the LG G2....was like ok I think this is the one. Then I found out you have to pay extra for a damn stand...wtf. You can't even packa stand with a 2k tv? What a joke. So that was removed on principle alone. I had just gotten a Samsung Neo g7 for my 4090 and I love Samsung so I took a look at what they had and omg the s95b has been a dream. The interface is absolute shit, but the picture is everything I wanted. I love the color pop and brightness. I have always like the more vivid colors of samsung stuff....that's just what I like. If I want to look at realistic colors I will just look around real life. Anyways, it is unfortunate LG would do something so stupid as only have a wall mount for the tv packed in or I may be signing their praises, but I've always loved Samsung (minus certain things like every other company) and the s95b is one hell of a first oled for me.

I bought this miracle a week ago ! what can you say about the brightness of the oled pixels ? what value do you have ? and has the TV become darker after 6 months ? also, I understand that you have a contrast set to 85 !??
