ОтветитьIve just changed my sons liquid metal on his ps5,and it was working ok for a few hours then just stopped,I've checked the power supply and that's fine what else could be the problem ?
ОтветитьANY southbridge check ?
ОтветитьThe thermal paste is funny because no one can agree on whether or not it’s bad for temps.
ОтветитьAre you checking for continuity or a specific voltage value?
ОтветитьHi and thanks for your videos. I have a short on the R22Hr20g coils which are in the middle between power management 1,5v ddr6 and switching regulator 5v 3,3v TLV62090RGTT. It's normal?

Great tip if yo're trying to remove thermal paste, I found a little bit of acetone on a cotton ball works amazing! IPA doesn't work too well for me
ОтветитьHow did you know voltage of motherboard components? Like that component is 5v and that's 3.3 and that's 1.5? I'm a beginner can anyone help me with any videos to learn about it
Ответитьhi my friend
ОтветитьShould be awesome if you had a picture of the measuring instrument when you measure
ОтветитьOn that bothhand magnetics module will all those legs, my right half (only the right half)of the bottom row(just like where you're testing) are showing short to ground for me..I ended up taking out my Southbridge because of some shorts around that, and the short went away.. Now I just have to swap that Southbridge out with another, and after a reball, well see if it works.. It'll be my first manual reball and because of YOU sir, I have the confidence and the know-how to give it a go.. Thank you I'll update this if it works.
ОтветитьDon't worry about your hair mate your hair RULES 👍 I wish I had hair lmao
ОтветитьThank you so much !!
ОтветитьHow many percent is that IPA?
Ответитьwhos malcom.. Travis son? 😆
Ответитьtrying to hard to be funny, calmdown...
ОтветитьThanks! Pity, it wasn't a fix but all the popups make it a very informative video. Keep it up.
ОтветитьYou keep nicer hair than me probably. I cut my hair so no need to comb. I need i cut now but being cold no thanks to myself.
ОтветитьYou go to sleep dreaming about ps5.
ОтветитьNo plans for you probably know by heart the schematics.
Ответитьwhat the hell are you talking about?
ОтветитьThis video is very helpful, if you could do a video like this for the series x as well it would help a lot of people.
ОтветитьAttempting "Hard Mode" diagnosis. Unable to connect to mains. Try THAT Tronicsfix!
ОтветитьAwesome video, dude !
I only started board repair about a year ago and I always watch your videos .
Currently I'm struggling with a PS5, and this video helped me a looooot !
Thank you and keep up the good work !
Why so may ps5 repair?!? Oh I know it's a crap console!
ОтветитьVery good explanation of the components and power rails, but how come you don’t even have 12V, even with a known good power supply?
ОтветитьYeah, that was my thought exactly. Someone switched the board, sorry we could not repair it.... Customer scam.
ОтветитьThank you so much !! You did awesome work! Thanks a lot from the whole console repairing scene !
ОтветитьThis is exactly why the idea of a damaged console is awful. Who’s got the integrity and skill to actually fix the issue or at least not make things worse. It’s either pay full clip to Sony $250 or just sell for parts imo. Here in the states we don’t have a Coder
ОтветитьRant Shields Up. Brace for impact 💥
ОтветитьHello. I searched for the much wanted power manager chip DAP053T and found that there was someone that said the TEA2016AAT/1 is the same chip and Sony just rebranded this to DAP053T. Do you beleive that?
ОтветитьI just had a feeling it wasn’t plugged in 😂
ОтветитьGreat Video Phil - Keep up the good work !
ОтветитьThis is why a lot of people hate technicians, they pay moron scammer technician to break down their stuff or steal their parts and then good technicians are seen with the same eyes as those garbage people, fortunatelly there is still good people and techs like Phil.
ОтветитьGreat video And very helpful. Keep up the great work. And Travis broke it 🤣
ОтветитьYup Travis strikes again
ОтветитьDude man, which probes do you use?
ОтветитьGreat video!!!!! Thanks
Ответитьtravis did it
Ответить1st Again
