How To Upgrade To Davinci Resolve Studio!

Great tutorial! When I downloaded the Studio version on my computer, the Davinci folder automatically opened (your screen just showed the one Davinci icon folder) with 2 items in it. I was able to open one item and install it as the application. The second item is labeled "Install Davinci 18.2dat" (DAT file type...do I need to also install this?). I tried but my computer is asking what app I want to open it up on and I'm not sure which one? Help!

Sir I have got an updated version of DaVinci Resolve 18.5 free version, wherein I can't find the backup icon in the database column. so, therefore, I can't upgrade from the free version to the studio version, please guide me in the process of upgrading from the free version to the studio, thereby I can do so, sir.

If you buy the studio version (for example Resolve 18) then Resolve 19 comes, is there a free upgrade? or need to buy the Resolve 19??

The paid version of DaVinci Resolve also gives you the license for the Black Magic Fusion - the standalone version of DVR Fusion - this is supposedly more powerful than DVR Fusion but I guess one really needs to be into compositing.
