what if I want to hyperlink a document and not a URL?

Thanks for keeping this simple! Without all the fanfare intro people put on this days.

Recently, my boss wanted me to show her how to create hyperlinks. I've found she's more likely to see something I've been working on if I send her a hyperlink - one click takes her there. But she wanted to send someone a hyperlink to an entire folder full of files. She was worried that sending a hyperlink to someone outside our organization would give them access to navigate to other areas of our data she doesn't want them going to. Is that possible?

Dear Sir, Let say you asking for some update on activity performed by an team in mail is way too far down in mail trail (lets, three months before in January ), and now in April you are asking for an update on that activity in same mail, and but mail is too long and context of message body you need to point out in reply is way down which will require so much scrolling down, so instead of that scrolling way too down, can I create link in reply mail, which once click can directly take receiver to required context of message body? Thanks.

What if doing do steps and when sending the email from OUTLOOK to someone else the hyperlink turns into hyper text? Help!!

You can also just right-click on the word(s) you want to hyperlink, one of the options will be 'Hyperlink', then you paste the URL, & you're done! :-)

OK, I've looked everywhere and can't find how to add links to my current version of Office 365 - Outlook - which doesn't have this menu at the top at all. There appears to be NO way to link, unless I'm totally missing something. Can you help PLEASE??
