Alright. To everyone bashing this video, realize it isn’t a serious ski film. It was for fun. There’s literally a cat in the interview. 😂
ОтветитьBack in the day there were cables supporting a walkway into the real chute at the top. You would take off your skis, traverse the cable walkway, put your skis back on and jump into the chute, for real. This is when the run got its name Chute 75 because after the drop in there were 75 kick turns through the steepest parts on the way down. When I skied Squaw Granite Chief paid $8 for a lift ticket.
ОтветитьChute 75 is not a real chute. I ski double blacks but do not consider myself an expert skier, more like a beginner advanced skier. I skied Chute 75 with a little difficulty at the drop. So yeah, definitely a beginner double diamond in my book.
ОтветитьGreat video
I have not skied in a very long time , but I do remember going down Chute 75 and the west face in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Skiing on my 210’s😎
I got first tracks down Chute 75 back in 99 (two feet of fresh) and is still engrained as one of my favorite moments on Squaw. Its not that gnarly but when its fresh, its a blast for sure.
ОтветитьSuch a fun slope
Ответить75 is a classic
ОтветитьChute 75 is easy ngl
Ответитьski dad takes on chute 75! gnar brahh!! thumbs up
ОтветитьMore skiing, less talking/petting your wild animal.
