i think that HA sorcs builds deals more damage now. I think that new stile withou LA and HA should deal more damage because you still should manage 2 bars and use skill every second. But 95k still very strong and enough for majority of content. But would like to see either slightly nerf HA build or slightly buf this new playstile. Also think that this new item can be so much OP in PvP even without 15% damage increase. at least for bombers. I thinks it is better than balorgh now, but not sure

I want that for my healer, I'm usually bouncing around too much to weave and only HA to get resourses back or procs.

The damage without light attacks is comparable to an oakensoul build, so it should serve as an alternative for people who can't or don't want to weave, but are bored with heavy attack builds. It also may narrow the gap between people who weave well, and people who weave poorly. Working as intended.

I wonder if those that are still crying over la is a bug/exploit etc, would still be crying now that they have a mythic that supposedly makes the combat system play how it's supposed to play as. Or would they still be crying over why their dam is low 🤔

I don't get this...why would you want 99% of your attacks to be less effective?

I know of players who have disabilities and can’t LA weave so this mythic could be a potential solutions for them to hit higher numbers?

Surely this is basically BiS in all situations for every class, since you won't need alkosh or potentially even EC on people so u can have more people with parse setup...

Although I wish they'd just change the way LA works in ESO, I'll take this. Oakensoul grows boring fast and I like weapon swapping, but LA weaving is dogshit game design and everyone knows it.

I think this mythic is still good for bombers but not for gankers.

Im personally super stoked for this in pvp. Planning to pair it with kitty, archers mind, and orderswrath. On my stamblade ill be a crit dmg cap against players with 3k crit resistances.

It’s decent damage, but so many people that hate heavy attack sorcerer are praying for something that will take over the meta, I personally don’t mind heavy attack sorcerer, I have every dps and on the dummy it parses lowest, but in trials the damage is way more consistent and reliable for pugs and Vdlc trials. It is sad though when I’m on a Stan blade doing crazy weaving and bow proc’ing while getting out parsed by the oak sorc even though I can hit almost 120k on a dummy.

I have Oaken, Leeching, and Crimson on a basic farm build for my second profile so I don't have to build too much into it. Slow DPS but takes out WB, Pub Boss, and all add waves without any need to cast skills mostly. I run it on a Necro so cast Grave(for Breach), Beckoning Armour, and Blast Bones for any DPS. Spam changes from Pulsar to Scythe as I see fit, ulti is Goliath(i get like 70-80k health, usually starting around 45-50k). Its super simple and fun IMO.

Gonna be crazy for addpulls,vsshm, and 4man if paired with bahsei

Warden should be the best no light attacker if you really dont want to keep ultigen up every 3 seconds. The bear doesnt need to be used to be useful

@nefas run pillar the new mythic and the new medium trial set. Light attack on spams for ulti regen and bash cancel on dots.

Woot a great mythic for high ping and limited apm players let's not get this one nerfed. I hated oakensoul 1 bar was way slow and limited skill slots 😅

Actual analysis on this item is welcome, lot forums are up at arms over it when it doesn't seem like it's anywhere near game breaking as they make it out to be. It's just intended for playstyle enabling.

They nerfed oakensoul and made new oakensoul.

Don't worry, they'll nerf it to death so they can sell the next chapter

I can see it’s place in PvP with the 15% crit damage and 5k pen. I’ve been using it on pts with the arcanist in acuity deadly with the beam and it hits pretty hard with Critty kat passives and force up. 30-40k crit ticks every 0.3s on the trial dummy, and since I’m wearing acuity pretty much every tick crits. Pvp is gonna be an absolute visual mess next patch 😂

Nice item!, i love how this can give some change to the game. Hope they eventually make some changes that allow skills to become more situational rather than a mindless spam of rotations 😮

This is a really creative mythic. Props to ZOS for coming up with this idea.

This is... the most boring shit imaginable. Zero commentary, zero interaction, just 3-4 minutes straight of endless random loud noises and nonsense at a time. At least put in a SMALL amount of effort and communication as to whats going on, holy crap.

Trail Dummy is not a good test for this. You barely need any additional penetration and with Templar, Minor Force and 5 pieces medium armor you are already at the crit damage cap. So those stats are wasted.

So almost 5k pen (alkosh) and 15% crit damage (EC) and no weaving but 15% more dmg. I guess if you can find 8 dps using this then up times on ec and kosh are not needed. At least every mob and boss will have 100% uptime of both ec and kosh. It may work for groups who coordinate with all dps using it. Interesting i wonder how well this will actually work in groups all using it.

Can you still deal light attack dmg to enemy players? It's worded funny. If so this will be my go to mythic for the extra 5k pen in pvp.
