Informative video! I'm looking to pick up a rtl-sdr next week and I have NO IDEA what I want to use it for! I've seen videos of people actually talking to astronauts on the ISS with one. Very versatile tech that looks like a lot of fun to play with.

Great job. I am retired military, Firefighter and 30 or so years as a dispatcher. I love to see young folks interested in electronics. Scanning Police, Fire< EMS and Aircraft has been a lifelong hobby of mine. As a very young child I would listen to an old "Police and Air Band" radio in my bed at night. Glad you have the "fever".
