John Travolta nailed it
ОтветитьLoved this scene!!
ОтветитьUnlike his 70's movies where he can sing and dance and has awesome hair, in this one he can really really act.
ОтветитьIN MY HOUSE!
ОтветитьYeah. In this scene he was the perfect fire captain. Company 49 was HIS responsibility and reaming these two a new one is exactly what any good company captain would have done - because he'd be feeling Dennis' loss more acutely than any of them. Dennis was his responsibility, as 49's captain.
ОтветитьJohn was great in this role. He's come a long way from playing a hitman.
ОтветитьI always loved this scene. John Travolta truly nailed it.
ОтветитьWhatd he mean by lowering the flag?
ОтветитьPart played well
ОтветитьWhat a boss 😎
ОтветитьJohn Travolta is such a strong actor. He needs to pick better roles when he comes back.
ОтветитьThat’s a Captain doing his job and maintaining control over a serious crisis.
ОтветитьLove this movie!! Proud FF SJ 🚒💯
ОтветитьOh yeah big time do what you need to doing get it together back to work at the firehouse ge t it done & be safe.🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒
ОтветитьTravolta did a great job at showing emotion in this scene.
ОтветитьLove this scene but his gd word isn't cool
ОтветитьTravolta did a great job here. This seems like a legit conversation after a tragedy has occurred. That simple “do it” at the end was perfect. God bless first responders
ОтветитьTravolta's best role. He nailed it.
ОтветитьI liked how all the firefighters just stood there while the captain was getting on to them.
Ответитьsuch an under-rated movie, the anger and the truth that came out when he yelled at them but they all knew he was right
ОтветитьJohn Travolta is a first class actor and evidently a first class human being as well coz how many times have we heard his name in the news for bad reasons? And it's horrific that he's had to deal with such devastating tragedies in his life: losing his teenage son then his wife...how he keeps going shows how tough he really is.
ОтветитьJohn made an excellent Captian in this film, how he could crack a joke, or scream to his firefighters and Lieutenant if they lost a man on a call.
ОтветитьI come back from telling a mother that her son is dead and this is going on in my house, IN MY HOUSE
ОтветитьCan’t believe they fought over what happened to Dennis
ОтветитьGreat acting
ОтветитьThis brings back a similar feeling from Backdraft when Tim got burned up!
ОтветитьI’m sure this situation happens all the time when it comes to losing a brother on the force. Everyone in the house feels the loss. But having to move on with the job, they need to honor their fallen brothers, by uniting as one ☝️ not fighting another.
ОтветитьI saw Ladder 49 when it came out and it was the first PG-13 film that I saw in the theater.
ОтветитьWhy do i feel like john travolta says "you got that" an awful lot in his movies
ОтветитьWhat did he mean by lowering the flag
ОтветитьMom and dad right here..
ОтветитьI come back from telling a mother that her son is dead, and this is going on in my house? In my house?!
