Idea - randomly roll a number and the number that it lands on is the number of rooms in your build. Within reason or course - not a 345 room mansion. But that would be cool to start with, and you can go from there with themes, colors, etc.

Honestly you guys mentioning that this took you 12 hours makes me feel a lot better about my building skills and excited to play again. I always get to frustrated when it takes ages to make or do anything in the sims and I feel like I'm too slow and stupid compared to people I see online who seem like they build mansions in a couple hours.
