I need help I have powered USB hub I can't boot batocera when I connect my HDD through USB hub but I can boot it when I connect HDD directly with laptop I to connect it through USB hub so that I can connect controller also
USB hub is powered by type c cable could be that the cable is cheap and I need more powerful cable to to power USB hub????

Don’t buy the Leirui the angled end breaks off eventually. Bought three of them all of them broke eventually from that end.

It works really well while the last but cannot recommend them on reliability as when you might need them the most they might break.

Ummm... personally, I'd rather my USB cable fail than the connector in whatever device I'm trying to plug it into. The cable would be much less expensive to replace than the connector in that fancy-schmancy camera.
