Richard Tandy is phenomenal on this album. An all time favourite keyboardist. He was fantastic. Such a talented musician.
ОтветитьBest song ever written?

ОтветитьSomeone shared the Daicon IV AMV with me yesterday. In the middle of all the explosions I was like "Wait I know this song, but from where?"
ОтветитьAmazing 🤩
ОтветитьHappy new years!
ОтветитьThis is truly an spectacular album ❤
Ответитьbest anime song ever
ОтветитьCould listen to the first minute of this on an endless loop. They should have stuck with it as its a masterpiece.. its a dying shame it breaks into a rock piece as it ruins it....
ОтветитьJust on the border of your waking mind
There lies another time
Where darkness and light are one
And as you tread the halls of sanity
You feel so glad to be
Unable to go beyond
I have a message from another time

One of my earliest musical memories, from around second grade, is hearing disco for the first time and HATING it. As a result, I passed over ELO until 1984 or so, when a friend played me the first three songs off "Time", and changed my mind completely.
It amazes me how it's still clearly ELO, yet somehow that same stuff that put me off in the 70s is completely transcendent in 1981.
This song lit up my teenage imagination; listening on my Walkman in bed at night, I'd watch neon visions play out behind my closed eyelids.
Like WOW! This song is like SO totally tripendicular and whatever!
ОтветитьAbsolutely kick Ass album
ОтветитьMan imagine if this song was incorporated into the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure" series. Wonder what type of stand and ability would "Twilight" have 🤔
ОтветитьListen to this Song When I fly the Millennium Falcon!
ОтветитьI wish they played this on the radio more. I only heard it once on the radio and finally found it here! It's my favorite song of theirs.
ОтветитьTwilight is my favourite E.L.O song. I wish the song was played on the radio more often.
Ответитьone of the most energetic, dynamic, powerful, yet unashamedly eccentric and chaotic pop songs of all time. It has a thumping pace driven at a breakneck speed, blasting away and changing up so often, you can't even stop to catch your breath. The most genius aspect of this song, to me, has to be how its emphasis on forward momentum almost distracts you from considering how complex and unique this song truly is, as it is constantly going somewhere new and inundating you with what's coming next. Bona fide banger. Perfectly expresses what makes ELO so great. Superficially catchy and commercial, yet quietly brilliant in a way that has only grown more apparent with time. I have the privilege as a young man to listen to this music with fresh ears. Fun music, first and foremost. The sincerity of ELO is what draws me to the music the most. Great stuff.
Ответить😭😭😭
ОтветитьObrigado pelo conteúdo, música fantástica e inesquecível. Valeu!
ОтветитьWhere's the Fortnite!!
ОтветитьJust, brilliant 👍
Ответитьthis album was way ahead of its time
ОтветитьEu simplesmente viajo nessa música !
ОтветитьThis reminds me a lot of olp spiritual machines
ОтветитьThey don’t make music the way they used to… you can’t get goosebumps from rap music like you get from that amazing transition from the prologue to the actual song
Ответитьthe best theme of ALL the MODERN History.
ОтветитьI was fortunate enough to see Elo in Greensboro. John Lennon had been killed a few months before and Elo did a dedication to him and The Beatles
ОтветитьThanks for the prologue.
ОтветитьOne of t he BEST albums ever. ELO simply ROCK. Jeff Lynne is a genius.
ОтветитьThis album is honestly the keystone in my absolute fascination with electronic music. I remember as a child (I was born in 1971) hearing songs by Kraftwerk. Two tracks that stuck and remain with me were Showroom Dummies and Spacelab. There's a quality and a texture to the sounds of those tracks that genuinely made me nostalgic as a six year old. It made me think of old 50s radios with wood panelling and weave stretched over the front and big old knobs you could twiddle with.
Then Jarre came along with Oxygene 4 and just blew my (and everyone else's) mind.
But I think it was this album by ELO that really set my on my path and made me sure. I just never looked back after hearing this. And I'm still at it almost 50 years later. :)
I knew the group via the video DAICON IV of Gainax and I am a fan of the group since.
