I bought A few Platinum Eagle's last week when spot price was $850.00

My concern is with the decline of internal combustion engines and the rise of green cars platinum and palladium will lose 50% of their use causing the price to go down further

Considering the price of platinum I would say that not buying fractional platinum is financially irresponsible. I just recently started stacking silver and I learned the pool metaphor for platinum in the first week of my studies. It wasn’t until now that it has dawned on me that we should be stacking it by any means.

Silver is now at 48% of its all-time high, so I guess it’s positioned for significant growth too.

I have 3x1 oz bars of plat, I got mine for stack diversity and because the price to historical value was a no brainer, big future for plat in fuel cell tech, I also think its different from doing glod, you could say I'm a white metal bug. 😉

How is platinum authenticated? I can weigh, ping, slide a magnet, and put my coin through a Fisch gauge with silver - how do you test platinum?

I bought a 2022 British Britannia 1 oz
Platinum Coin for $152 over spot and an additional $100 sell tax.
Did I over pay?
Was that a good buy?

The spot price for platinum is around $970

Today I called a coin shop near me and ask them what would they buy my coin for and they said $50 below spot.
Miss got me worried.

It's occurred to me that people may hoard gold and silver as stores of wealth so strongly that it won't change hands in the future. Palladium is about to give up the ghost. So the "money" will be platinum, bought, sold traded and used for goods and services. After standard monthly stacking, I pick up a 1/10 oz just in case.

As a risk vs reward theory, 1 oz of platinum vs 1/2 oz of gold, for almost the same price, I'd go with platinum 99.99% of the time. 😁

Was a small return on the upside as I did it via not holding the silver so this bullion dealer will be getting a lot of my business based on many positive things about them (bullion now in Melbourne Australia). A few Australians watch this channel.

Thanks for making a beginners guide to Platinum, your video's always add extra value and questions one must either get answers to or consider before/during &/or towards the end of whatever the people in particular are going towards investment wise or in the middle or again towards the end.

Current status: Catching up on what I've missed, other account was hacked, so this being one of my favorite channels on you tube of course I'll thumbs up, check comments - try add value to comments from others and also learn in regards to comments posted.

Some time ago I had never heard of a REIT, until a kind soul mentioned his/her investments and REITs was one of them, as always I hadn't a clue about them - so the hunt began for information (video name I don't recall, but it was on this channel). My focus is to re-write my metals stacking strategy and do A LOT of research related to the stock market (gathered: gold mining companies, uranium *both were on my list some time ago*, fertilizer companies - huge problem around the world, copper of course and of course REITs which means Real Estate Investment Trust for those who do not know what it means). Also hydrogen as electric news is old, look at what the Billionaires are throwing money at Research and Development wise to see what is the Next potential big thing.
Oh for Hydrogen fuel cell fans, a prototype car has been developed and a certain Australian miner has been reportedly saying he's doing hydrogen fuel cell mining trucks (can not verify the actual article - have seen videos related to it. Interested to see what the battery that apparently uses rust to fuel itself actually becomes (it's a Huge battery at the moment - wonder if they'll be able to make it smaller in time).

I have 10 and 20 year goals already typed up, not heavily researched but the only one who will get you to your goal is YOU! In order to get somewhere, all YOU need to do is take the first step.

I've been debating on buying some.. think it's about $1,000/oz now. I think i will.. couple ounces to start out. I might check my lcs.. not to buy one ( he doesn't have any)... but to get his opinion on liquidity. When it comes time to sell... am i stuck to selling back to an SD Bullion or similar? I refuse to sell on ebay or social media... so this has me concerned. Comments?

I've been stacking platinum since last year. Sold some of my silver last year and bought some platinum. Bought another ounce this morning. I'm also speculating that platinum will be a major player in future uses for energy (PEM hydrogen fuel cells and gasoline catalyst switch from palladium to platinum). Long-term investment.
