Acer Swift 3 SSD & Memory Upgrade SF314-41

After going onto task manager without the upgrades my cpu speed is on 0.40Ghz. One of my buddies said that it would be useless to upgrade if my cpu is that far gone. Can someone help?

Worth noting that the spare 2.5" drive bay will not accommodate the thicker size of standard 2.5" HDD (15mm) only the two smaller sizes; 7mm and 9.5mm

Mine has a HDD in the HDD slot. Do I need to remove it first before adding an SDD on the m.2 nvme slot? Or would both work together if I add both?

Edit: it took me a re-installation of the ram, did what you’ve done of booting the power on with out the back cover and un hooked battery to the board. It finally worked!

i am sorry my man i hear its no static carpet cool sorry to say that , a quick question, i have the swift 3 with pentium gold cpu , CPU 4415U @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz i take it it has the same ram in it

you could not find a more static producing top to work on with static sensitive parts

I did an ssd upgrade on the m.2 slot on my swift3 (before it was running windows on the hdd) but after doing windows 10 fresh install on the ssd, the laptop will sometimes get memory management error bsod upon restarting or waking up after sleep. Any suggestion on what to do? Any help would be much appreciated.
