I've been using myheritage for a few days. It has done a marvelous job on most photos. However, on some photos, it failed to identify faces and, therefore, failed to enhance them. Then, on another photo, it added facial hair to a female in an old photo. I'm now trying to find a way to remove the facial hair on the enhanced photo (the rest of it is perfect).

People should know MyHeritage won’t warn you when the free trial runs out and you get auto billed $160 then will continue to send you unwanted emails which can’t seem to be unsubscribed. Stick with the Photoshop version.

Nice presentation (as usual) but seems like a bit of a promo for MyHeritage..checking their FAQ's, the colorizing is (as you've stated..thank you) limited to 10 photos, only other option is unlimited, on their 'Complete' plan which is $199 for the first year, $299 thereafter. So I'll stick with Photoshop for now.

Can you change the clothing in say a 1920s photo to today's? Also one that changes cars etc as well.

The MyHeritage web site is a complete ripoff for anyone wanting to colourise their photos. I used the demo version and thought the photos were fantastic after colourizing, so I signed up. However I was unable to colourize any more photos, so I contacted them and was told that the Premium Plan only allows for 10 photos to be coloured, but there's nothing written anywhere to say that! Apparently I have to pay more for a larger plan to do more?

the adobe one is way better, the heritage one results in a hideous image that needs 30m of touch ups to fix. Atleast the adobe one has a consistency, you can just warm the image, change the entire image colors to get a good result

That was one of my favorite AI of photo color restoration.

Any photo downloaded from MyHeritage (after enhancements are applied) are limited to 8bit colour and downsampled it as well, thus the difference with the original ones.

I used it on a picture from a book I have, but one of the colours was off.

I agree in part, it depends on what you need. If you have to colorize the photo, Neural PS is not the best choice. The same goes for restoration. Since you have to pay a licensing fee, Adobe should represent the best in photo processing and editing, rather than any licensed package, because you have to pay for a PS or PS + Illustrator combos, etc. So, this is important message for Adobe, which in my opinion it should take on board. AI will displace the big guys if they don't reinvent themselves, more tools, unique and easy photo editor process, etc., maybe they can lose a lot as it happened to Kodak at the time.
