I'm from Ukraine and I'm lucky enough completely and equally understand mr.freeman in three languages: Ukrainian, Russian and English. Although my comprehension of sense of his words is rather superficial.

I think that actually depends on the culture. The American culture of talking is one of nice nothingness where everything is made to look better and no genuine awnser is expected to the question of "how are you?". The words amazing and awesome get thrown around for everything better than mediocre. That is not the case in Germany. German culture is a lot more direct, german people will tell you that your clothes look ugly if you ask them for an opinion and not sugarcoat it, they'll tell you that they don't like your food if they don't and tell you it's disgusting if that's the case. But the thing is that it's not meant to be rude, it's just genuine criticism. So remember, if you hear a German say something is awesome then it probably is. I find that interesting how cultures differ

Went crazy sorry

So I got curious and decided to do the "silent week" on my own time to see what happened. I'm gonna list how I felt and all my experiences but if you don't want to read that then just skip to the end.
Day 1: it was pretty easy because I was extra aware of myself. I accidentally talked about 4 times that day, but the desire to talk was real.
Day 2: I don't remember day 2 very well but I can say I accidentally talked 5+ times that day
Day 3: I cracked and looked at social media twice that day. Not my proudest moment. I accidentally talked 4+ times that day as well
Day 4: I realigned myself with my goal so I'd stop checking social media and this is where things got much easier and I started to get used to not talking. I accidentally talked 3+ times.
Day 5: I can't remember this day too well either but I accidentally talked 2+ times.
Day 6: I had family coming over so I accidentally talked 5+ times that day, but it wasn't a huge deal.
Day 7: this day was the most intense. I only accidentally talked twice to my knowledge, but what made this day so intense is that I realized the thing freeman was talking about in this video; that words are becoming meaningless. I already knew he said this but I really realized it that day and it was a huge realization, it kept me up for awhile.
Day 8: I took an extra day to make up for how much I accidentally talked. It wasn't very eventful but I had to relearn how to communicate properly afterward.

I would highly recommend doing this. It's not for the faint of heart and it was very hard at some points but I think it's worth coming to the realization yourself. You also practice a good amount of self control too. I don't regret it and I would urge anyone to try it if you've got the time.

Ive done months of silence and it was the only thing that saved me. I would recommend it to anyone who can. Start with just a day at a time. Youll have to probably redefine your daily schedule off social media, but its for the best when you unplug and find yourself.

It's crazy because I'm a Muslim and during the last 10 days of Ramadan we are supposed to be quiet and pray and read the Quran in a isolated place preferably a quiet environment.

If the true intention of sharing awareness was for individuals it shouldn't be on a platform coming off a corrupted algorithmic system you're against
I believe your idea and goal are pure but i still highly think the placement is what needs change .
If Mr Freeman does not exist and we do , the creator is an individual as well , and how would he know his idea is making change ?....unless it's outside a platform , a screen , a glass box ...
