Sara you are not alone 😂 I never take dented cans even if it is the last one ~ I open the egg carton & move all the eggs to make sure none are stuck from being cracked ~ self check out never finds any of the items I am scanning, It tells me repeatedly Wait For Assistance 😂
Using a self checkout deprives a worker of hours. Please do not use them.
ОтветитьYES! I put back the dented cans!!!! NOT worth the risk! Shalom Sara!!!
ОтветитьShalom, Dr. Malka! Just out of curiosity, where is the Walmart in this video located?
ОтветитьWalmart is not very cheap store. I live in the North East of the USA and I prefer to shop for meat and chicken in local supermarket of BJ. I always find BJ meat selections is higher quality compare to Walmart.
ОтветитьNo. It’s not just you. 😂 Sara, you’re kitchen is an organizers dream and you are a Super Woman! It blows my mind that you’ve not only created a beautiful, warm, very organized, home, but have a full time job, are a full time wife, have three beautiful children, and still make the time to focus on your relationship with G-d and your spiritual studies. On top of everything, you share your wisdom with all of your viewers and do it in a way that is soooooo relaxing to watch. Your energy is joyous. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhat kind of oil did the ancient Hebrews use for challah?
ОтветитьI so love your shopping trips and wstching you fix your meals.
I hope some day you will consider writing a cookbook.
No you are not crazy, use should never use dented cans as they could have issues with the seals or have small perforations.
ОтветитьLove your videos 💕

ОтветитьIt's cheaper to buy the Mexican spices they're not that bad couple bucks I go to a Hispanic market or I'll buy bulk spices and spend like seven bucks on a huge bag that fills my container I have a white huge jar cause I use like a quarter cup to a half a cup of.Paprika and some dishes

ОтветитьI think your kosher shopping and meal prep is much the same as mine because I also want clean food. I see my friends eat food straight from the store and just cringe. I look for kosher symbols because I know that I can trust those foods even though I'm not kosher. Absolutely, I put back dented cans. I probably am your mother's age and learned long ago to avoid dented cans. "I want to see more." Thanks for a great video.
ОтветитьFascinating to watch your shopping trip. It is very smart to leave damaged cans on the shelf . I know a man who nearly died because he consumed canned food which was spoiled. Thank you for your helpful offerings. Martha-Ann Ewald from Oregon
ОтветитьYou are never all alone. Thanks
ОтветитьUnless one can tell the difference between seams busted from botulism and dents made from forklift mistakes, one is well advised to avoid all imperfect cans.

ОтветитьIm in utter delight watching you . What a fantastic life .
ОтветитьSarah, believe me when I tell you it’s not just you as far as the self-checkouts are concerned! We have a love/hate relationship with thrm in our house too-my husband loves them and I hate them, to the point where I will only use them if I’m in a hurry or I’m at the store later in the evening and the human-operated checkouts are shut down. We don’t have them at my job yet (I work in a craft store), but we’re supposed to have them installed next year-YIKES!
And I also inspect my eggs carefully for cracks, because at today’s grocery prices and with my minimum-wage paycheck we cannot afford to waste food! Dented cans are also a no-go because of the potential for food poisoning even if the vacuum seal is still intact, which is a lesson my husband learned the hard way many years ago! So you’re not crazy-just cautious!
