The narration is rather strange. It's as if the horrors of the Second World War or the indeed the First hadn't happened . That Germany was a victim and Hitler's only wanted to be trusted despite the evidence to the contrary. Britain had enough trouble out east without an SS team in Tibet. "Seven Years in Tibet " was written by a escaped German POW in the 1950s'. Was very interesting , although it's very sympathetic to Tibet .It makes no bones about the extreme medieval. lifestyle of the country in the 1940's. The Schafer video certainly. portrays. a pretty. rampant. sex scene., which Seven Years may have glossed over .

Alas I was intrigued by this channel and video. With no detailed description of what the "topics" are that have been covered wrong by history, no expansion of what the video covers (other than "the expedition"), and reading all the comments that sing praise for covering the topics and it being refreshing but zero people mentioning anything of substance that is "new" I am stopping this hour and twenty minute video as dedicating movie length time to see if I'm interested or being clickbaited is not something I'm willing to partake in. If anyone would like to enlighten my shallow take I will come back to watch, or if anyone has hateful or witty comments since we're on the internet and everyone is a former special forces commando I'll come back to read those, either way perhaps someone can clue me in...I just don't like canned history disguised as stunning and brave.
