I've been vegan for 10 years now. Best thing I've ever done. But I have been trying to explain to people that mushrooms are NOT vegan. They are more related to animals than plants. They breath oxygen, are quite intelligent and some are even carnivorous like Oyster Mushrooms. They are also just plain adorable looking.

Would you eat a sea star or sea amenamy just because you think it's a plant?

hi if you have a look around at some other WPB recipes... cashews are used as a thickener... no oils or dairy
