I want to build my skincare routine. I'm 18 and I have combination skin. I don't have acne but I have tiny bumps and sebaceous filaments (even tho they go away quickly but reappears after sometimes). so I want to use SA smoothing cleanser (I don't have the renewing one available in my country is there any differences between them?) can I use it twice a day? also I want to use cerave moisturizing lotion (not that daily moisturising one bc that's not available) will using these products make my skin purge or break out ? also I'll use cosrx aloe soothing spf 50 sunscreen!

Im oily and used to be a fan of hyram. I stopped following when he overcharges a serum that is 90% water 5% niacinamide etc. when other brands have them for lower…. Smh

Oh, it's a pass for me. The branding is very… questionable (the white savior trope is a no). And the "sugarcane" is from Brazil, meaning: no way is sustainable, and being "recyclable" doesn't mean it will be.

I've said this before, but Hyram's line isn't meant for women like me, so my opinion probably doesn't matter. It's meant for young kids just starting out, for people with sensitive skin, or those who want a pretty basic product. I need something with higher levels of active ingredients that will actually do something for my skin. The price point, while not outrageous, is just too hypocritical and too much for the small size. The young demographic this line is targeting likely doesn't have their own job or credit card, so the parents will be forced to buy these unexciting products for their kids. As for the recycling factor, I've seen it said that most facilities in the US can't process the packages, so there is absolutely no benefit to recycling the bottles.

If someone can benefit from the line, great! I think Hyram is a good guy, no hate towards him, but this line is nothing more than a cheap quick money grab. The products will surely sell out, but they won't last. No one will be talking about it a year from now.

If y’all think his skincare is expensive remember that Hyram does not like to use low quality ingredients and the sustainable packaging costs way more than ordinary, harmful plastic. Also, I think the price is modest, especially compared to other skincare brands such as La Mer, Tatcha, YTTP, Drunk Elephant, etc. Another thing, this line is not meant to be sold on drug stores! It’s verging on the line of luxury skincare, hence its presence in Sephora.

I’ve been using the full line besides the Salicylic acid serum because I have combo skin that can dry out easily. I started breaking out pretty badly and I can only assume it’s because my skin is sensitive to niacinimide. I was hoping it would be a small enough amount not to irritate it. I started to use it only during the day and not day/night and instead use my curology gel to moisturize at night and it is helping my skin not break out as much. The serums/cleanser should last me longer than the moisturizer as it’s the thing I’m going through the fastest so my plan is to change my moisturizer game and continue with the other products to see if I can get better results. So far after using it for 6 weeks I’m not seeing any major changes in my skin besides my tone being more even. But I’m still getting break outs, not seeing a difference in my acne scarring yet or nose blackheads.

which korean cleanser does not dry out the skin and removes waterproof sunscreens?The cosrx,purito and keep cool all are super stripping but also does not remove oil buildups let alone waterproof sunscreens.

As an asian, I could get better cheaper products and donate at the same time without feeling ripped off.

I have dry skin and bought the cleanser and moisturizer during launch. The cleanser was a hit for me, did not make my skin feel tight or uncomfortable, did not dry it out. Removed sunscreen really well and lasted me a bit over 3 months while using it every single evening. Maracuja moisturizer, as you said, did not feel moisturising enough even though the texture and feel on the skin is really nice. Will definitely repurchase the cleanser but as for a moisturizer I will stick to Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Gel one.

while the products sound okay, there are other companies who have products just as good or better for cheaper. disappointing that the price point isn’t as affordable as the inkey list is.

Hyram's skincare line is full or hypocrisy. Definitely not buying it. I was hoping that Hyram would never come out with a skincare line because it is just going to hurt him. Overpriced products in tiny bottles targeted towards teens for their parents to pay for. I unfortunately see that not even Hyram is exempt from hypocrisy. Preaching about enviroment and unexpensive products and here he comes with tiny plastic bottles containing virtually nothing. With the most godawful ad. Hyram himself was very critical of "white-saviorism" in his video about missionary work so I was astonished to see him now commercializing images of African children to sell his own skincare products. Did these African children give permission to have their faces used in advertisements? Were they compensated? Hyram's skincare line is not even sold in Africa!

I have oily/combo skin, I'm looking for a similar cleanser that has calming ingredients like green tea and possibly the dame texture like hyrams
