i like my gpu to go straight into the motherboard. Regardless of if the extension holds back any power or not I don't trust my GPU's to go through a second party. Why get a mount when you can just stack up (however long) for the perfect pieces to fit together?

I’m really thinking about mounting my gpu vertically because I like the way it looks but I just switched from a chunky cpu air cooler to a Corsair radiator witch saved a LOT of space but I don’t want the mount to take up lots of space I’m having a hard deciding if I should or not in a small case

Recently tried it with a regular PCIE 3.0 Riser cable* from EZDIY FAB (*since my Aorus C500 has an Vertical Stand as optional Adapter included I only bought a Riser Cable instead of a Whole vertical Stand set)

So I thought it would run fine, but I had to face reality that my PC always Crashed after minimum of 5 to max 10 Minutes after Playing even simple Graphic games like Just Cause 3 Multiplayer, looks like my ASUS TUF RTX 3070 (PCIe 4.0) reacts very Allergic to that Riser Cable. After some research I figured out that this Problem is caused by the PCIe 3.0 gen in the riser. Since my Gigabyte B460 HD3 (Rev 1) also only has 2 of 2 PCIe 3.0 slots, I thought it would run fine, but my Graphics Card said otherwise.

Well, I reclame it tomorrow and get my 20,-€ back. I probably have to get a more expensive PCIe 4.0 card.
