DJI Mini 2 Active Track HACK

I have both the DJI FPV and the Mini 2. I wish more than anything to have active tracking. I appreciate your support in seeking this feature.

I'm going to put this in sport mode and try driving and have it track me at 36 kph and see what happens. I bought this dam drone today hoping that Litchi could solve the problem, but then I find out it doesn't work for mini SE 2's :(

New Mini 2 owner and disappointed that it doesn't have "follow me". Thanks for this workaround.

Thats great, and I do think with the tech of active tracking already being out there, im sure they could do a firmware update or something. Great video, will give it a try.

Apparently Maven has active track. I haven't tried the app yet but I will be soon.

I have the Mini 3 Pro and I've had a lot of frustration getting Active Track to work. When I try to activate it, it tells me I can't have two subjects. Or, I get it to select the subject, and as soon as I move it loses the subject in seconds. Still working on it.

Is the mini 2 still worth buying,as it's a big jump in price for the 3 or 3 pro

can the controller be your home point? if the dji mini 3 pro is on follow me do I knead to go back to the home point

I think I got it… as a newbie, you’re not supposed to know about active tracking until you get everything else nailed down! 😁
You wouldn’t want us to get overwhelmed with all the features, would you?
Seriously, I received my mini 2 today, and I’ve never flown a drone before. I feel like there’s a ton of stuff I need to learn already! 😂

Yes, DJI Mini 2 should have active tracking. It can be put to a height where it can avoid high objects

I shot a quickshot clip then made it into a short video with music all in the app one time. I’m trying to do it again and can’t figure out how to do so. Well, it is okay that you must frequently look over your shoulder because you should never turn your back in on a drone anyway. They are tapped into your phone privacy info, location, all filmed footage, photos and flight details. It is almost like we have paid money to China to become their spies. Alex warned us about this.
