Spoiler alert: It doesn't matter for Sony. Sony will 100% do something to sabotage whatever handheld they make, like they always do. It will most likely be them using some overly expensive proprietary technology for one of the components that they then pass on the cost to the consumer. The price of admission will be too high and the feature-set will be too small. Sony's greed will always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Fantasian is not how Sakaguchi, “one of the grandfathers of JRPGs thinks the genre should evolve”, but actually the opposite, a throw back to classic JRPGs.
This is from his recent interview:

“In fact, a lot of it was influenced by my experience playing Final Fantasy VI and return to my origins of game development and RPGs. So, in a weird way, I think Fantasian is almost this classic JRPG that was put into a time capsule, and we opened it up in present day. So, it was perhaps the exception to the rule and not the modernization or future trend of where JRPGs are headed.“

I was able to stream FF7 remake on my PS Portal (I’m in the US) with almost zero issues or interruptions. It was super impressive. I had it at max 1080P resolution the whole time too. The library is a bit sparse in my opinion right now but I’m really excited for them to expand it. I’ll be testing this out a bunch when I travel for work. Big fan of your content man keep up the good work!

Also, Remedy would‘ve sold more copies of Alan Wake 2 if they would‘ve went with actual physical copies to buy from the start. Most importantly, they shouldn’t have gone all woke and racebent Saga Anderson. There are a lot of people who don’t want to support stuff like this.

Sorry Remedy, but as long as AW2 is an Epic exclusive, I'm not buing it. And I've played your games since Death Rally. I even played around with Scream Tracker3 and remember wathing some of FC demos back in the day. I really hope dropping exclusivites in the future would make financial sense for you.

On a different note, will be checking out STALKER2 as soon as my black friday SSD arrives. First on game pass and if it's actually solid, will be buying the damn thing

It's ridiculous how these companies are so tone-deaf and brain-dead when it comes to listening to actual long-term fans and players. How many people have been saying for years to just update the Vita to modern hardware but without that special SD card, then push it back out into production. Taking the long way around such a straightforward situation is just so infuriating. By the time they finally figure it out, no one will care. We'll be too old.

Speaking of buggy launches, is anyone else still unable to play black ops 6 via PC game pass? Despite at least two major updates, and trying every supposed fix under the sun, the game still crashes on the initial launcher screen every time. And this is on a top-end 4090 rig.

C'mon. Serious gamers have bespoke handheld gaming rollbags tailored for them.

I don’t quite understand devices like switch and steam deck. My switch has never left the Dock since 2017 because if I take it out I’m trading in surround sound, big OLED screen, higher res and sometimes higher frame rate. It’s just not worth the trade off for sitting on the couch or in bed.

The PSP sold more than the GBA, and I don't think anyone would say the GBA was unsuccessful.
Anyway Anton Blast looks AWESOME. Like if there was somehow a SEGA CD answer to Wario Land.
