It would be good if you made an update to this video, as the new Lightworks is completely different; hence, my only watching this for a few minutes.

I'm trying to figure out how I can zoom in on the "time code ruler" where you can put your in and out points to create clips. Kdenlive has it to where you can zoom in on the bar when you are creating in and out clips but it also shows the audio. From there I can create my subclips like here but I can't seem to zoom in on the time code ruler to make it easier to find the clips.

It's extremely useful when I work with creating smaller clips for my timeline because I can easily get the clips I need out of a larger clip.

It's hard to explain but that feature is super handy and I'm wondering if it's something that can be done here in Lightworks?

This looks great but I find that all beginner videos do the same thing you go flying around the screen with the mouse and you forget that we the beginner doesn't know anything about what you are doing or the program so I'm wondering if it's possible to have a real beginners video with one video up and then show us how to use brightness and or contrast and perhaps colour the clouds more or less, forget the Audio and lets get the basics. Thanks for a nice video and I can see that the software is very good.

Liteworks is now only a trial for 90 days so don't waste your time if you want a completely free program.

Louise Salkow did training on Lightworks and she was a nasty little tramp that put me right off the editing system.

Lightworks never works for me. Everytime I post a normal clip of my OBS, it immediately dissables the noice.

Awesome information!! Would love to see a tutorial of how to loop audio. More than likely user error, but it seems like every time I try to place an audio clip on top of another to make a loop, it just snaps to the end of the previously placed clip. Any advice would be helpful! ☺️

Way...way...way...way too much information for a beginner. How about a tutorial to show how to create a project, import it into the timeline, then edit out segments...period. Forget all the special effects, titles, sound editing, blending, etc.

I downloaded this in hopes it would do better then DaVinci Resolve as far as playback lag. I think it's worse. And the audio is. All I get is crazy static and jumping. Sounds like I'm on a alien spaceship. Quite new to editing and don't have a super expensive computer. Any words of inspiration?

I uploaded about 2 hours of Halo gameplay, wanting to edit it down to the talking points and finer things.... but every 3-5 seconds, while the video is playing in Lightworks, the sound goes out.. its about 2 seconds of silence while the video continues... how do I fix this?
