this didn't work for me. Maybe because I have the free version.

Much appreciated of this tutorial, I was looking for that setting but since a fan near my screen blocked my view of the far left side I was not able to find that little icon for those settings.

Why does the color keep changing? Sometimes the way is light green, sometimes its bright white. I am starting to get that...Im done feeling with this software. Sure, I spent 300 bucks, but I think an aneurism is more expensive. I think there are too many fanboys that prop this company up because to not have basic functions like cut, or that arrogant database..where you cant save the project with your backup footage...

Im done. I just feel a food because I even got Windows10 (which is another nightare and heartattack waiting to happen...setting up a network isnt possible, so yeah...one day of my life looking for something that doesnt exist, a day Ill never get back)

Resolve was supposed to save me time on editing compared to Movavi...so far, It took me 8 hours just to cut 8 minutes of video, just remolving the dead space. Movavi would hang and lag, but with the thousand commands burried in ctrl alt k...I seem to have no improved much. Sure, in time, I will learn it all...I wont have teeth by then, but sure.

Dont get me started on the forum though....Half of it is RTFM...what manual? I never got a manual. This is why Im seriously tempted to go back to editing on vhs...

I also had to right click "normalise" otherwise the waveform was far too small. I played around with it and clicked the "netflix" option

Is there a way in Resolve to see both of the wave forms for the left and right channels? Or is the only way to do that to split them into separate tracks?

my god this is me a beginner used to shortcut, but it's broken so I'm on this, I'm new and it's so frustrating I'm feeling like pulling my hair out and scratching myself, I'm angry, I want this to be easier, they makeit for people who are good at this stuff, gosh, I need to cut audio from video sinc new track audio I did badly in audacity how can I do it easily. it keeps freezing too.

Most of the time this does not work, and all videos show the same useless method. Once I deleted all cache files and restarted the waveforms came up. Blackmagic needs to address this.

Didnt help.. ransomware protection was blocking the access to cache folders

I just formatted my dvd movie and ripped it. I set my sound to 6 channel. I understand that I can take da vinci resolve free version and see if each channel was loaded by looking at the wave forms. going to each step, how do I load the video file and check the waves to see if winx dvd properly spread the audio to all 6 channels, thanks
