You can't unscrew the centre out of most presta valves

I didn't use the tube supplied with the slime. I just put it end to end and pushed it in. I had to use the 4 Oz size. I don't understand why slime doesn't say you need an adapter on the instructions.

I suggest removing the nonsense from the video and including only instructions - and the irritating music - who needs that?

Workaround for the the adapter:

I wrapped some electrical tap around the valve in order to create a tight seal. A rubber band might work too.

I can't get the slime to go into the tire, I think I'm missing the small metal part that goes between the end of the tube that holds the nozzle open.

Absolute rip-off for Presta valves! This WILL NOT WORK! There is no adapter & the valve core in NOT removable. SLIME is straight ripping people off with misinformation & lack of proper instruction about their product.

the only difference is that the adaptor for presta valves are not for sale with slime so this video doesn't help at all, thanks but no thanks.

This doesn't help with ones that have the screw top but no core. How the hell with that one? Are we just not gonna have any in it?

Why don't the adapters come with it?

The adapter threads onto the removable valve core, not the threaded stem of the valve. Is there an adapter from Slime that fits to thread on to the shaft, and not on just the threaded core (which needs to be removed to put the Slime in)?

Very nice, this is the only video I found where it is shown that the perpose can be served without taking out the tube.

When do you spin the wheel, is it after you inflate the tire or before?

Most presta valves you cannot remove the valve core from the top. On most presta valves if you take the nut off the core it will fall into the tube, which is not a problem if you are expecting it too. If not it will fall into the tube and you will never find it again.

DO NOT DO THIS.

DO NOT FORCE THAT LITTLE NUT OFF YOUR BIKE'S VALVE WITH PLIERS.

You will regret it. The nut doesn't come off easily because if it does, the little inner tube that moves up and down can go inside your bike. Once it's inside, it can get stuck there/bent/ruined, and then you have to buy new tubes and have them installed.

I just tried to insert the slime sealant into my BRAND NEW, 5 HOURS OLD BIKE and this happened to me, plus the slime did not actually go into the tire and squirted all over the wall.

So basically I spent the money on this product that does not work on these tires with presta valves for no reason. Slime, please put on your packaging that it does not work with these valves so that you aren't ripping people off!

Man fuck these presta valves. Who invented this stupid shit. Bought a nice brand new bike road it twice and tire went flat. Figure slime it and air it up... Fuck no, it's gotta be one of these stupid valves I've never even seen before. And of course I didn't have the luxury of having a removable core. Why they even have ones that aren't two piece is beyond me.
