Jordan don't play that. He took there beatings for years and always there to shake hands. He may have complained in the press but he kept driving to the hoops and taking their punishments. That's called courage and class. Isiah, Laimbeer and them had no class and Isiah paid for that with the Dream Team ignoring him and Laimbeer although so said was a good coach in the WNBA, never got a shot in the NBA!

Simple shake hand, just a simple shake hand. Huge consequences. Dumars and Salley: dumars forever respected and recognized by the Goat MJ as the best ever guy to defend him. And salley got a free ring.... Isiah, left out of the dream team and forever the villain to MJ and laimbeer forever remembered for his dirty plays more than his contributions on the two champtionship... just a simple shake hand, even if not sincere, wouldve changed the narratives on them.

Fact Check: Has any team across ANY sport in the last 100 years shown less class and less sportsmanship than this event by the Pistons?

The Bad Boys' loss was extremely terrible. They were aiming for the three-peat and anticipated defeating the Bulls. Even until now, thomas and laimbeer have not fully recovered from this nightmare loss.

The Pistons were like the mischievous kid that if you didn't watch him, they would take fire crackers and light them under your feet and then when you turn back around they would act all innocent. The Pistons were the ones that would hack you in the paint and put you on the ground and then act all it wasn't me in front of the referees and feign innocence. The Pistons job was to get in your head and frustrate you so much that you would lose your cool and make mistakes. So when the Bulls finally were able to become mentally tough enough to not fall for that BS the Pistons were pullling, the Pistons were done as the team of the late 80's. When MJ trusted Phil, the triangle offense, and his teammates, the Pistons were finished and they were when they got swept by the Bulls in the 1991 Eastern Conference finals.

Then the bulls dominated...the 90's...a decade of mediocrity. I mean who did they dominate...the worn out old Lakers? The Blazers?
The greatest decade, the 80's...long gone...

Such mean girls you commenters are: you know, follow a leader types like middle school girls. Previous teams did the same; in fact Boston did it to Detroit two years prior, but Isiah nor the Piston's cried about it because it was okay. MJ cried, the media was in his pocket and you guys/gals are in on it as mean girls. Today's Americans are soft.

For those saying the Celtics did the same to the Pistons - that was because the fans used to raid the court after the game. The Celts left early for safety reasons not for unsportsmanlike conduct.

History matters. The nba still years later owe this team and Zeke, honesty and fairness, but they are still pushing Jordan's narrative. I know it wasn't this bulls team, but i was alive, how many people ever talk about how the pistons were hated and both the Lakers and Celtics before this, refused to shake pistons hands after losses. It's forgotten. Zeke is an alltime great. He was wrong, but it was kinda expected in this era, they took it personal like Jordan always is allowed to. Move on. Zeke is a great dude and a tough competitor and one of, if not the best pg ever

Isiaha complains about not being on the Dream Team. His game certainly deserved it but he was the captain of cerain players like Lambier that didn't just play hard basketball but tried to injure players. These players were all on the Dream Team. He would have ruined the chemistry

What REALLY sucks is that this wouldn’t even be a discussion If MJ wasn’t on the bulls. It was a classless act but holding onto this Is bitter. Isiah apologized about It and MJ is the one that still holds It against him and everyone else In the comments follows after MJ. No one would care about this moment If MJ wasn’t on the bulls.
