How do I split my mesh into mesh parts in Blender so that it's easy to mask it just like in this tutorial? When I assign a different material slot to a part of my mesh in Blender, it creates a new texture set list for Painter. So how do I further divide the mesh into parts, like "nuts", "bolts", etc? Thank you so much!

Can anyone prompt how the author uses the color scheme exact colors? I can see they have certain numbers, but how to insert and apply them with the eyedropper?

It is interesting you don’t mention import from Adobe Substance Modeler. Does painter not support that?

I can NOT load the rollerskate fbx into Painter. I have the latest version of Pt.

I wish my models were this organized. Since I'm using models other people made, I have to deal with all of them being one singular mesh with no grouping.

Please provide a complete video to export material from Substance 3D Painter to Vray Metal/Rough mode. I read and watched a lot of videos both neither works correctly and never substance painter and vray render look similar (Even same HDRI/ Settings) and I mean without substance plug-in. Thank you.

I use the Steam version, I don't have access to the free asset library :( That part of the tutorial stung a little bit.

Don't you just gotta hate Adobe for what they did to the logo? Sure, just add another one of the ugly ass blank Adobe Logos which already look all the same so it gets even harder to distinguish your software at first glance (y) Whoever the fuck needs UX, amirite? Psshhh, that's for nerds.

I'm trying to figure out why my colors are off in the Suede (boot) and Climbing Rope (laces) smart materials. I've double-checked the colors I'm using, and they seem to be matching the ones from the tutorial. The colors seem okay in all the other materials though. For example, the light yellow (E0A016) looks really orange on the boot and laces of my model, but it looks okay on the wheels. For what it's worth, I'm using Adobe Substance 3D Painter 2022 (Steam Edition).
