Is it mandatory to convert from old scheme to new scheme??

I have a question..if we take one subject, eg:- accountancy and study it for 6 days and then start studying for law for 5 days and then Tax for 8 days, etc. While doing so, wouldn't it be required for me to revise for the subjects that I have completed reading?? Wouldn't too much of gap make me forget what I have read? So how to manage those revisions while applying this strategy that Sir has suggested?
