2009 had way better production, more commentary lines, the old UFC look with fighter banners, in UFC 4 they replaced stitches with Yves Lavigne. The damage you were doing with gnp elbows was more visible that cut got noticeably bigger, flash KOs more prevalent in UFC 4 I sometimes feel bad knocking a guy down 10 times whereas in 2009 any strike could end it. Lastly 2009 doesn't fn advertise itself in the octagon those dirty UFC 4 logos YOU CAN ONLY SEE IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE GAME lol idiots man.

Ufc 4 for me i haven't bought the ufc 4 but i had the ufc 2009 the game was so boring ufc undisputed 3 the best ufc from that era imo

Idk the gameplay in the old undisputed games felt a lot smoother and more realistic only thing the new games beat is the graphics and Bruce buffer sounds more enthusiastic when he announces the fighters

Best character models of any UFC game. Even the animations with strikes all they had to do was change the bobblehead and put more snap on the punches like they did but they downgraded the graphics and color for you Undisputed 3 the same thing Fight Night did with champion except Undisputed and proved gameplay we're fight night did not round four was way better people only say Champion is better mostly cuz they think about the story not gameplay

2009 was just better. the limited hud, the arcade fun sort of feel that was simple but effective enough that even somebody who doesn't play video games or even keep up with ufc could play. I feel like ufc4 is too complex, the ground game feels more like a chore than a bundle of fun, and the striking seems so slow and sloppy. the only thing that really makes ufc4 "good" is the knockouts feel like they have weight, the graphics, the commentary, and the replays.

Wow UFC 4 is the slowest slugged non-realistic fighting motions I've ever seen in my life. Rocky boxing for original Xbox is better than this garbage.
