The 2.9 base model is the best Porsche today. It has no DFi, which every new Cayman, Boxster and 911 has. Play it safe get a 2.9.

I like your real world "average guy" 0 to 60 tries. Something we should be seeing in reviews...what most guys will really do. Not someone who might have competitive amateur or pro racing exerpisce or drag racing experience....which is how Porsche gets their numbers. ...and they do make sure the road temp is right...warm...."right tires" (not sure if they use racing tires or the tires we get on the cars.

Proves opting for a GT4 doesn't maan you'll get faster times from a smaller lighter car vs a GT3 or C2S with Sport Crono Package...The C2S is faster to 60 ...according to Porsche's conservative factory tested numbers of 3.4s w/o SportCrono and 3.3 with...which means you should be able to get near 3s times...with a better driver, ideal track temp...etc.

0-60 only 4.3s?? Piece of crap

I would get a manual without question if the gear ratio was shorter. I plan to drive mine often and its irritating the only being able to hit redline in first gear unless you feel like going jail speeds.

Id flip through the gears quicker and still punch it hard each time.

Fast...but ugly as hell.

Take a Porsche 718S ,tune it with a down pipe, particles filter removal, 100 cells sport cat and you ll get a 440 HP car faster than the GT4, as well as weighing 50 kg less, and way less expensive! It s a no brainer

I think you have to check that 0-60 a few more times to be sure

I think the cayman is my favourite porsche, it's got unique body styling. The 911 feels like a reconstructed beetle while the 718 feels like a pocket rocket

Is it the engine from the GT4? Like it’s a 4L fault six but doesn’t Rev to 9k rpm I know the GT4RS does but does this and the GT4RS have the same engine?

Mat you forgot to remove the pull ring on the fire extinguisher, that's why it didnt work.

Its actually hard to find a used GT4 that doesnt have all of the options. Its 0ctober 2022 now and the going rate for one is £115,000 with low/delivery miles.

Love these ultimate reliable road and track day car what's not to like built with the right capacity to take the power reliably instead of having to bolt things on and map

I just beat one of these on the expressway with a scat pack. Pretty quick. Cars were real close I only won by a nose.

I had the previous GT4 which I replaced with 1 718 Spyder as I missed not having a convertible. It's a great car.

Gt3 wing looks better

the manual gear box is one of the best put in any car. it would be the perfect car if they just shortened the gears.
