I'm about as antisocial as they come but never ever considered not going to my son's viewing and funeral ! My grandson was sixteen months at the time and would go to only a few people so I could have stayed home with the baby but nope not his last occasion not my baby .

Jenn was rejected and very offended by it enough so to take it out on Maddie ! The ignorance of that is not just hurting your ex it's hurting the kids at a time when they need to bond .

Why he is not pressing charges against Jen Soto yet? I do understand that he was alienated from Maddie and my prayers go to him.. I just wonder why he wouldn’t go and fight for Maddie’s justice now, I believe he has the right for it.. specially when JS literally dumped the ashes to him like saying this is my revenge and take your crap that I don’t want.. she did this I believe to get back at him.

Tyler, as a parent, has the authority to get Maddie's autopsy report. Under Florida law, he, as a parent, "may view and copy the autopsy report." Of course, this would be a difficult decision to make. Sadly and gruesomely, JS also has the right to "view and copy the autopsy report," as long as she "did not commit the act of domestic violence which led to the minor’s death." Since no one is accusing JS of domestic violence against MS, my bet - I'm a retired lawyer - is that JS's attorney, who is a good attorney, already has a copy of the autopsy report. Florida Statutes 406.135(b).

Ever since I saw Tatiana speak at the memorial and the interview with Maddie's father, I knew they were genuine and showed more emotion and horror than any of the family that Maddie had been living with. It's so unfair people pretend to know exactly what happened between Jenn and Tyler and Maddie.

Where are the court documents showing he fought for custody?

Where are the Court docs stating that Jenn made harmful accusations against her bio father that ruined his chances of getting custody?

The truth is that him and Jen weren’t together anymore and that situation made him alienate himself from his daughter. At no point did he go to court and try to get custody.

He moved away met a new wife, had children and moved on.

He would talk to her when he felt like it and he barely visited.

He did not try to meet Stephen or appropriately vet him.

We can disliked Jen for several reason but let’s stop making up narratives about this custody stuff until y’all show the documents and evidence that she was the problem in him not being present for his daughter

JS and SS just waited at the condo because, in their words, they wanted to be there in case Maddie came home—even though she apparently didn’t know her own address and at least one of them knew she wasn’t coming home at all. Meanwhile, Tyler Wallace dropped everything to make the long drive from Houston to help look for his daughter.

I can’t fault him for not knowing, especially if there was parental alienation going on.

Yeah that deadbeat deserves no sympathy. Wasn’t even involved in his daughter’s life at all. Total DEADBEAT.

He didn’t live close to her. A father cannot protect his daughter when he doesn’t make sacrifices to be within driving distance. I don’t blame him for what sterns did. I’m just hoping fathers learn from this tragedy. The adults want to move on after divorce but kids don’t move on without their dad.

Madeline didn’t have a sleeping problem, she had been convinced by her mother and Stephan that she needed night time medicine to help her sleep, I believe she was double-dosed whenever Stephan “helped himself”to a Maddie and whenever they were wanting to make cash and videotape her! Remember the teacher saying she used to fall asleep at her desk well mass because she was being drugged at night with meds she didn’t need!!

Yeah he cld have faught harder..he cld have video chat with Maddie daily and had a better relationship with his bio daughter..seeing his daughter twice a year does not make him father of the year. Sorry no excuse... Just my opinion. My ex doesn't sees my kids as much because he travels a lot .but he makes sure he calls them every single day askes them about school daily.. video chats with them daily and when he is in town he spends all his time with them so sorry...NO EXCUSE! thats great and all but after tyler treated jenn as a cumdumpster how come he didnt just go to a city hall or county court to give maddie his last name? That kid was walking around as an illegitimate child to man who split town to marry another chick 4 months after maddie was born. Tyler and his wife were living their best lives in texas while maddie was being treated like a toy out in florida. How come tyler never went down there to go check out ss . at least take them out to an applebees and talk to the other beta jenn was with? did these people tell you they were going to give you some cash to vouch this lame spin for them?

My guess is she fought to get her for the child support and the attention that she would get from her because it appears when people are around her for a short period of time they stop liking her pretty quickly. Personally I find her needy. annoying and conniving. Just my observation imho.

I am baffled at why Maddie didn't come to dad for rescue? Granted, it took me a minute to tell dad what was happening and than dad's family went into action.

The best I can think of dad had to tell her she can't stay because of his work. Not realizing she would see that as a no escape option. One those creeps would be able to manipulate.

I remember wanting to live with grandma and her saying it wasn't possible not realizing it made my plan to leave home to escape seem not possible. I didn't know where dad lived.

I was given a small allowance at one point and was saving it for bus fare. They didn't like me saving money so that didn't last long.

With Maddie too, she was so young when it started and probably deceived. With her mother I believe involved in the abuse? She must have questioned right and wrong. Being constantly told it was right. Sadly, there is enough garbage available out there to use to manipulate children who don't have strong relationships with a relative or is well read. I say this because they tried it on me but I already knew better. My mother was lying to me and we would get into these long conversations that I couldn't win but it was just enough to put them on edge. Bought me time at least.

A lot of fiends know the law. That abusing a child before teens put them into worst creep zone so if they are in a position to wait for the worst assault? Some do just in case they get ratted out on.

I got mine to change his mind when I told him if he didn't stop,? I was setting him up for murder and mom wouldn't take the rap for him.

I was fortunate it worked. Though I was dead serious. In my case he wasn't going to put me into that role. I rather expire than be his repeat victim and I was almost 13.
