what's really disgusting and disturbing is the very system which is probably much more corrupt than this one individual. and even more disturbing is the fact that these types of crimes will continue to occur. if any of these supposedly prestigious schools were offered 50 million dollars to get some kid accepted into their school the sad truth is they will take the money. today, tomorrow whenever, let's face the reality that modern society at all levels is a giant cesspool.

Apparantly he is ashamed & full of regret. I wonder if he will feel the shame & remorse while he is enjoying the $18 million he made.
He took in $25 million in payments, & paid out $7 million in Bribes, so basically he made $18 million.
That works out at about $420,000 per month in jail assuming he spends the full 42 months inside (but he will probably be out in 2 years).
Sounds like a pretty good trade if you ask me.

The difference between corruption in other countries and USA is in USA if they get caught they will be brought to justice and jailed other countries they will be encouraged and helped if they agree to pay mor bribe. I respect America .

It’s an absolute farce- people who shoplift candy bars can get more time. “White Collar” crime where millions are illegally acquired gets swept under the rug while Black Collar Crime for $50 gets the book thrown at them, disproportionately, proven statistically. I feel so much shame. They keep us distracted with Red Vs Blue so we don’t notice that it’s really Rich Vs Poor…and we are always going to lose.

That is pathetic...on the part of the government. They should have thrown the book at him.
