Lmao you making a video of this when I did mine 1+ year ago, guys in case you asking, it is worth it. So far only 2 controllers both work 100% and you can get the 4 button one which makes it even better.

Spend $200 in your valuable money+ time + labor for a knock-off or spend $200 for an original PS5 Pro controller.

I bought this kit and the package they sent didn't come with all the necessary parts so I had to email them and wait for them to mail the missing part. the installation was fairly long and stressful and once I finally finished and the kit didnt even end up working.

I tried a version of it on the ps4 and it was absolutely aids I just can’t get used to the back buttons sticking out it’s uncomfortable for me but for someone who can it really is a better option since the edge only has 2 back buttons too

Well, it's definitely is a not as good as Edge since it lacks trigger actuation locking, profile switching on the fly, volume sound regulation via Fn buttons, different stick sensibility curves etc. But it's better than nothing, I suppose.

Can you remapped all the buttons....no you can not so pointless

As a dualsense edge owner. That thing is overpriced af. The internals of the backpedals break easily, making them mushy, the shortest settings on the triggers can't beat third party clicky triggers. The only thing it has going for it is the stick input customization.

I installed this and R1 broke after a year and they sent me new buttons from free. Excellent service. Do you know if you can overclock the controller and use on PS5 ???

I did the process in less than 45min but i am used to do this, soldering, disassembly and so on. For me personally the process is not Hard.. I guess rating it 1 to 5 i give it 3. Follow instructions carefully and u can do it. I did this on my 2 controllers long time ago. It is awesome.

The Edge Controller does not only contain paddles bro, the Price got its good reason (for example the function to be able to change your joy sticks in case that there is a stick drift). Not necessary risking the dual Sense by doing this strange Installation instead of just buying a pro Controller with more and better functions (including paddles, stick change, etc)

Honestly, just try to save some cash and invest in that edge controller. It’s pretty durable and will last way longer than expected

But the DS edge has swappable sticks… and every single ps controller I’ve owned has stick/stick drift issues. I’ve been using the extreme rate kits to add back button to ps4 controllers for a couple of years. They do OK, BUT spending additional money on a controller that is bound to have an indictable issue isn’t the best idea in the long run imo.

It’s actually not that hard to install just takes a lot of time and patience it’s all just following steps

I has this on my ps4 controller for years. Now I bought a new ps5 so I guess it's install time

There is a much easier way to add buttons. Double stick. Nano tape. And a computer mouse. Works great on ps 5, I use the nano tape because it doesn’t leave residue and you can pull the mouse off and reattach it multiple times. I attached a Bluetooth mouse to the controller and used a wired mouse to bind the keys. If you don’t have two mouse it better to decide what controls you choose for the mouse before you mount it. I chose lethal and tactical . Now I don’t have to reach 0 and triangle button except for when open munitions boxes. Also. Once you have the key bindings set you can unplug the key board. And mouse still works . It’s cheap easy, free and functional. Everyone has a mouse sitting around.
