The KTM smc 690 R is 324 LBS. I had a VERY annoying 10 minutes trying to find the weight (147kg.) It is WAY heavier than the 450, though the 690 is street legal and the 450 needs mods for it.

KTM sm 450 is a competition bike and you have to change the piston every 100h. In addition, there are tons of different brands that make 450s sharing approximately the same specs so why this one ? This video is so gross. You shouldn't give advices to anybody.

I own a 701 and have put a lot of miles on it since buying it new, but I still miss my DRZ. I did a big bore kit, cams, exhaust, and spent a bunch of money on the suspension and absolutely abused that bike on the track, and always rode it to work the next day. Owning a DRZ felt like marrying your drinking buddy. Owning a 701 feels like marrying someone who's going to dump you because you accidentally put some recycling in the trash.

Best street legal sumo till that day is the Husaberg FS570.

The Drz is perfect for what they are. Yeah, I own 4 husabergs and 2 drzs. The drz is slow but dead reliable and you can get all your technique down without the headache. Then go out and kill on your svx, berg, ktm or husky

I feel like the drz is the civic of the sumo world, unkillable mass about of support, and cheap performance parts, not fast fast not slow slow, fun as hell because you know if you break it, it won't be an arm and leg to fix,lastly it's got a group of people that hate it just to hate it lol

I love my KLX! It is by far the most fun bike I have ever had. Most fun to ride the slow bike fast.
