Nice informative video. One question in your nexon fog lamp which led are you using? Is osram 25 watts sufficient for fog lamp in nexon? The oem bulb is 19 watts. I hope 25 watts won't give too luch load

Have a Question. I occasionally go out on highways. Most of the time I drive in City. I think 25W with 6000K is enough for me.
But I find white 50W 6000K too bright.
Kindly advice can I buy 50W with 4200K slightly yellow which is close to my present Halogen 12V 60/55W H4 & Halogen 12 19W H19 yellow fog light.
Is it alright. Another option to economise is Blaupunkt 55W - 6000K offered for ₹5,000 only.
Kindly advice for upgradation of Fog lamps 12V 19W H16.

OSRAM doesn't manufacture 50 watt led bulbs. Their highest wattage in 12 volt category is 20 watt 2000 lumens output. Even in HID they manufacture only 35 watt

This video was really helpful, I knew the 50W bulbs were worth it. I went with 4300K as it’s closer to pure white. 6000K is closer to blue which is why you get the bluish light (which I personally didn’t like), and ~5000K is the sweet spot for maximum brightness. 4300K also fares much better in rain too.

I see a lot of people saying leds are useless for reflector housings, but it all depends on which bulb you had previously as the housing is engineered for that specific bulb. This osram led is a 1:1 match for the filament position of my old bulb and the most important part is to mount the led with the chips facing SIDEWAYS. I can’t stress this enough, a lot of local shops aren’t aware of, or gloss over this but it is the cause of dark spots or uneven throw which is dangerous to both you and other drivers. I made sure to be present the whole time the shop mounted the led and oversee the installation, as we needed to drop the bumper to remove headlight housings. Make sure you’re present so everything is done right the first time itself.

I bought 4 bulbs for both projector low beams and reflector high beams. I never use high beams in the city, and now I frankly don’t need to. The low beams are more than enough for city driving, my stock halogens struggled to light up the road with oncoming traffic. I do a lot of highway driving and the high beams are perfect for that. On long stretches of empty dark roads they light up the road completely and gives a lot of confidence. It was an expensive upgrade, but a much needed one.

P.S: I bought the bulbs for 6K a pair from planet car care, ended up saving over 4K compared to amazon.

:- 25W LED is more than enough!
:- Don't use 50W, it's too bright for oncoming vehicle! Really disturbing, annoying, partial blindness & most of the people drive on High Beam too!

:- For General comparison, 60W company fitted Halogen is equal to 8-10W of LED brightness! So 25W is already 2½-3 times brighter than 60W Halogen & it's more than enough!
:- Instead of just increasing the wattage of LED, understand more about adjusting & perfect setting of your headlight which can make huge difference when done properly!

So I need to know the leds sizes for high and low beam as well as fog lamps
I am very confused abt sizes
And is 4300k is better than 6000k

Will 50W LED light not cause visibility issue for vehicles coming from opposite side? I have seen vehicles with bright LED lights which makes really difficult for me to see. I know many people drive with high beam on. But wanted to ensure if I buy 50w for low beam, it will not cause issue for others.

How do H4 become costlier. H4 cost 9990. But H7 cost 8990. But you have to buy 2 H7 . 😅 that is 18k for a car where H4 cost only 9990 for one car
