Blair Walsh and A.P. were the offensive weapons during this time. Ponder was a Deer in headlights having a paranoid schizophrenic panic attack every time he dropped back.

That 28 yard run on 2nd and 27 was one of my all-time favorite Peterson runs. The look in his eye, the determination, gave me chills. I still remember watching that game.

The Vikings had about as good of a start to this game that anyone could ask for, and they still barely won. Shows how powerful Green Bay was.

8 yards short. Amazing Dickerson's record has lasted almost 40 years. It will definitely be broken with the now 17 game schedule that will soon be 18 games. But - now with most teams with running backs that shares carries 50-50-- the record might hang around. If Derrick Henry didn't get hurt last year- he'd have broken the record

I was at this game. I don’t remember it too much because I was 8 years old, but I remember it being a great game. I’m a packers fan and even though they lost it was a great game.

I’m a die hard packers fan. Born and raised in Wisconsin. But I wanted Adrian Peterson to break that record so bad. NFC will forever be the best.
