People have become too compliment to the complete lack of transparency we've been subjected to on the game. The entire player base is relying on content creators for information now. Information that we should be seeing in more regular developer blog posts. As for the exchange it would currently take me five years to convert all of my AD to Zen. I don't buy Zen with AD but most of my friends do. The combat changes roll out on console this Thursday. Some of us have runic bags full of bondings / XP books Etc. The whole exchange is going to go under. There's a lot more elephants in the room Northside. We have a great community. The player base deserves better.

It's not the first nor will it be the last time Cryptic ninja nerfs something. They've always enticed players with cash grab Zen offers that later get nerfed. If this is your first time, your a fish. If it's happened to you more than twice, you're a sucker. None of this is breaking news, and I feel most vet players just take a blind eye, and choose to bend over n grab their ankles every time, chasing that eternal Bis entitlement. You might still believe that Cryptic does game changes to entice new players, but vet players are their cash cows. They've got them on a leash like a well trained submissive. Now call me Daddy. Hi, Played this game day in day out but as soon as Vallenhas/Avernus came out i got bored and hardly play now, i even had a big guild in a big alliance but this all went down hill with their half assed content, guild fell to the point that it wasn't worth managing it, (have one alt in it still to keep it alive just in case the game comes back) and i decided to leave the alliance to make room for another more active guild, but even that is a struggle now, still got blank spaces in the alliance because ppl are just giving up, i hope this new saga of Sharandar makes the game worthy of playing full time again, also this new battle system they have had made old content hard again, so as annoying as it is to do something and fail when you used to do it with ease it is a good approach personally, not sure why ppl are complaining though about not knowing about the new stat changes, its been in the news feed for months now with updates, but i know there is more to it than just that.

Wanna ask you if worth to buy Xuna for 5+ millions now before they remove Neverwinter elite pack??

It was already clear to me, when the chance of success to get ANY weapon or armor enchantment was 1%, unless you get a protection and boost 100%. Like WTF?!
Still a broken game. It was fun to me in Mod 15.

Yep, the current state of the game and especially the economy is dumpster fire and they keep adding fuel to it. Not only the resellers are abusing the easy AD they got from bondings, but cryptic keeps messing with the enchants is only making this worse.

15k crit strike only raises the total amount by 4%. It's not as much as it looks like.

A guy on reddit also ranted about the companion of this $100 pack.. They said it gives you 50% damage negation for the mobs in the new mod.. which we all know is too much. But they still advertised it as 50% for people to buy it just for them to change it to 10-15% after they boosted sales.. this is just false advertising and a shady and shit move

What you think bro...they just give us 2600000 ad for rank 15 bonding ...so they need to take that amount by any reason...so may be thats all r intended to get that ad...

What irks me about changes like this is the cost of weapon / armor enchants. If u buy all your stuff with AD, you are looking at ~8-9m AD to upgrade from r8/9.

A lot of weapon / armor enchants that are no longer considered useful often end up at 3-4m AD so u loose maybe 50% of the value...

...part of the reason why I still have r14 prominince / fey knocking around...eclipse/ shadowclad as well but are they good again now?

Yeah, someone multiplied by 10 instead of 2 on Barkshield tooltip. Math incoming! (Hide behind the couch, because NOT gonna show it in New Math format kiddies!)

Barkshield: 256,000 / 10 = 25,600
Flowered Barkshield: 51,200 / 2 = 25,600

So, seeing both only absorb 51,200 damage really indicates where basic Barkshield tooltip problem is.

I am close to quitting the game. Imo cryptic is getting to sneaky about all there bullshit. Trying to push that extra dollar. Getting to extreme. Going to give the game 2 more weeks.

That's the problem when tooltips are not generated automatically (and they could have saved lots of work by doing this properly rather than updating every tooltip in the game...)... The fact that all of the charges give the same amount of damage mitigation is not a problem by itself, you would almost never have 4 charges anyway. But the fact you just can't trust anything from them and you need to test everything to know exactly what they do IS the problem.

Well, its their company and their game. they can do whatever theu want. and they did this not just this time, they have been doing this for a long time now. the lack of innovative idea, lack of creativity, lack of coordination, i dont know what it is.

Problem is, it should not create a state where they are the only ones who are logging in to the game. Does not matter who owns it, the players run it and keeps it alive. I lost my interest again, this back and forth bullshit is not something i want to invest my time or money. I jusy hope the playerbase does not feel the same, cause most of the reddit or forum comments looks like staged/scripted bullshit.

This is craptic saying fuck the old players,lets make new players equal to veterans in random dungeons and trials. Even in the upcomming mod(new sharadar) low level players will be upscaled to 40k il. Im quiting because no point to upgrade toon just to be downgraded in dungeons.

- complete nerf of every veteran player investement (crit severity, power etc etc)

In my opinion the game by now is not funny anymore and not even balanced. I logged these days for some casual dungeons runs, with casual players and I have seen people with a gap of 13k item level doing the same damage, heals etc of players completely undergeared. I don't know if it's a problem of scaling or something else but this is unacceptable. Invest in any kind of build, enchants, companions or mounts has no meaning at the moment.

I dont even bother paying freakin 100 $$ for crap pack ingame, especially if you know how cry ptic constantly nerfs stuff which was once good or bis. I d have no probs spending 5$ a month for a good game but 100$ for ingame pack? Nope never ever. Thanks for the vid m8

Way too little, you have to wait almost half a minute to negate a decent amount of damage. Why the nerf, IDK. I'm no developer, but you at least have to measure cost vs benefit and diversity. For example, I'm a barbarian and I wear the elven battle enchantment, even though it is more intended for tanks because I like de CC resistance and I find it useful, that and that I like to run every time and the stamina regen is awesome. But what about fireburst, thunderhead, frostburn and briartwine, I rarely see those, they could be tank or DPS or even healer oriented, or add a little bit of control to a control-less class. They remain irrelevant, and what you get is overpriced enchantments (and I didn't even talk about weapon enchantments) that unbalance the game and stretch the gap between top players and the rest. There are not too many enchantments that you say "well, yeah they are too much of them, of course you can expect them to balance all of them" because that would be a big lie.

i'm lost , i play on ps4 , and all these number is just too different , rank 9 300 IL , what is happening to this game , correct me if i'm mistaken , but in mmo's u cant keep changing stuff every idk 5-6 months , u add to what u build , i don't get it.

On the subject of Cryptic being wrong to sell nerfed items, you are correct. But the precedent had already been set, all the way back from when they sold Chultan Tiger for 2,500 zen AND then proceeded to nerf it to the ground a week later. Then they continue this dirty practice with all our enchantments, runestones etc. Point is Cryptic is shady and can't be trusted. Forcing players to literally have x10 copies of each enchantment and runestone, and one copy of each weapon and armor enchantment, in order to survive any change they make now and in the future. Which is extremely unfair because the exchange vendor won't be around forever. Which is wrong, because if they are going to keep changing the game like this, they should make the exchange vendor a permanent thing in the game. Capable of not only exchanging radiants and Empowered, but exchanging any enchantment or rune for any other.

Bait and switch tactics are only unethical until you add pretty pretty flowers.

I don't know about the rest, but I never stopped using Soulforge armor enchantment. Lol It's the one enchantment that has never let me "down", pun intended. 😆
