I'm a raver at heart, I love going to electronic music festivals in the summer and I spent a lot of time around electronic music loving hippies growing up but more and more it got harder and harder to accept that I seemed to be one of the only people who cared about picking up the trash everybody leaves behind and I can't do it alone. Then promoters wonder why nobody wants to rent them space. That and the rampant pedophelia just really got to me after a while~ I understand that Burning Man isn't really an electronic music festival but they go hand in hand~ A lot of crossover~

Littering is never OK anywhere but if Burning Man is to take place, at least it is out in some hellish desert wasteland rather than an ecologically sensitive area.

Check out Octoberfest in Berlin a little after it finishes. It is a big mess. To be white is to say black exists nonetheless even though femininity dictates a messy environment is just plain dirty. That is my take. I gather any kind of absence of moral fiber at events such as Octoberfest or Burning Man only turns sour when it is finally exposed. Otherwise -- who cares? Now Burning Man has holes? Unbelievable! As an ex-servant in the public education system I say -- clean up is for caring mothers who want you to know the difference between right and wrong. I think most children agree? Cleaner is nicer but when a male is paid to do it it takes a lot longer to complete.

Huh? Think about how much trash is produced and shipped elsewhere as a result of preparing a long vacation out in the desert. Include the preparation of the giant art projects. Also think how much carbon is used not only in the prel and event, but the travel to and from. In other words what is the difference of having the event and not? How much waste iis unnecessarily produced? What you see is only a small fraction. But hey, rich people deserve to have fun! And poor people, too, I guess. Our deceptions and demise are tethered together inside bucket lists.
