ОтветитьI watched this to figure how to put it away properly

ОтветитьAlways see videos if you already own the other headset. But never seen or hear anything about if you're looking on getting a vr headset for the first time
ОтветитьCan Valve Index work on laptop?
Ответитьso many people are saying things like
“this video is making me feel poor”
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO WATCH THIS THEN,ITS YOUR FAUL SO STOP BEING A BABY
POV: You're watching this but you don't have an index but are preparing for if you ever get one.
ОтветитьI love watching things that I can't afford
ОтветитьJesus get to the fucking point
ОтветитьDoes it only work with steamVR
ОтветитьWhat shooting game was you playing?
ОтветитьWatching this as I wait impatiently for the rest of the parts to my new PC to arrive. Once they do and I get the credit card I used for them paid off, I'm getting an Index. I've had a second hand Oculus Go for a few years and even managed to connect it to my old computer without any extra bits. I also had the chance to try out a Vive at an arcade. Needless to say, I'm incredibly psyched up to finally experience true, full bore VR in games like Elite Dangerous. Not to mention getting to experience...other things in VR.
ОтветитьImagine not having a valve Index🤡
Ответитьthey are still 1900$ AU today. is there anything better today ?
ОтветитьDon't get it why the VR kits nowadays needs base stations (atleast for consumers, however developers probably need this for more precise tracking), I mean, it's so much work to get all setup, and it looks like a mess afterward.
I had the HTC Vive bought 2016 (costed like 1000 euro), and even it was amazing to use when everything worked, it just took alot of time to get ready, but most of the time it was some issue to get everything to synch (some controller couldn't be found, or a base station had some issues).
Anyway, 2021 I bought the Quest 2 (around like 400 euro), and using with steam is so much easier, also pretty sure to start up VR games from the computer goes so much faster to load, and it works just excellent playing HL Alyx or other Steam games, and the tracking works just fine(?). Also don't need any base stations, you can stand/sit whatever you want to play (but the downside, you mostly need brightness in the room to get it working with games that requires tracking, which I guess all headset using base stations doesn't need, so hopefully a headset with night vision is coming soon ;)).
But yeah; I know this cant be compared with the first Vive headset, now with better controllers, more advance headset and everything, but seeing these base stations need to be connected, you are just stuck in a room playing, and having cords hanging around everywhere. When (or if) Valve release a standalone headset without base stations, and a headset that don't require a computer infront of you, that would become really interesting purchase, like a Steam "Deck" VR.
