I am an Iron ranger.
ОтветитьThese are my style, beautiful shoes...I almost cried when you brought that blade close to them How can I win a pair?
ОтветитьThis one really is kind of hard to watch. I'm tense like a horror/thriller movie; the power of a brand, the legacy of a name/style, to actually stir subtle emotion.
ОтветитьI got a pair of 8085s last week and I will always own a pair of iron rangers from now on.
ОтветитьJust got myself a pair of iron rangers. I have a pair I’ve thorogood 1892 Dodgeville boots as well. The red wings are honestly constructed better.
ОтветитьHow American. Bifurcate everything. Destroy it. Discard it. Cool...
ОтветитьI've had my redwings for years...almost got them broken in
ОтветитьThese are most magnificent work boots ever, I own a pair of them for six years, still going strong, only ones changed the hills, cost me 35 bucks, they only getting better looks and comfort, I am constantly getting compliments on construction sites, not even one broken stitch.
Ответитьhey did your cat get that haircut at the AFB....lol
ОтветитьThose two-tone leather looks horrible... looks like you drop a beer on top of it..
ОтветитьI just wish they made an 8 inch version
Ответитьdude... you need to hit the gym every so often
ОтветитьBest boots Ive had, Comfy and fit like a glove.
ОтветитьHey look, my work boots. I love them.
ОтветитьI hate Communist China, however some of their boots are the best. They cost more that $200.... FYI
ОтветитьThis fellow is not terribly skilled in the use of his tools from what I can see. And it's "bulbous"....BULBOUS.
ОтветитьI really like the style of these but unfortunately these boots are too narrow for me, even in EE sizes and true to size it's still too narrow, if you have a narrow foot, it's good, but for people with big wide feets and broad forefoot, the lasts will not work and your toes will be crushed.
ОтветитьNo lining and they are charging $350??? Guess I got a bargain on boots I bought years ago!
ОтветитьDid you notice any staple holes in the insole around the arch and towards the mid-foot. I just bought a pair of Copper Rough and Tough and I noticed these holes in both boots... Do they remove the staples before they remove the last?
ОтветитьIn India red wing site selling the nubuck leather boot is it good long lasting leather quality?
ОтветитьWhat leather is it ?
ОтветитьI have well over 1000k miles on KJ w
They’re amazing
Yes, it is bulbous, especially in the side profile\silhouette. Notice the height of toe box, and if he lack of any taper.
ОтветитьOn the redwing website on boot models like the 1907 moc toe and the blacksmith in copper rough & tough it’s listed as a nubuck leather, but on the iron ranger it’s listed as full grain leather. So is the copper rough and tough leather “full grain” or “nubuck”?
ОтветитьAre you sure it’s a full grain leather? On the redwing site it has copper rough and tough leather listed as a nubuck?
ОтветитьThat heal was ridic
ОтветитьWatching you cutting up boots I am still saving up for is hard ha!
Only I can't decide if I want brown or black?
Good work thank you.
Um, you have some white stuff on your chin.
Ответить" Alot of people dont like seeing the natural flaws in leather " No weird new york city lawyers who dont have real jobs dont like seeing the beauty of leather. But their opinions dont matter... They can keep their fancy pants and living on top of eachother on the coasts...
ОтветитьI have a pair of French Army 'Ranger Boots' the old brown ones that where proper hand made.
I felt the nails in the heel block terribly! My heels were in agony after a long walk! I ended up hammering them down an putting an EVA sock liner over the top.
Hej! I bought Iron Rangers today! Great boots! Thank you
Ответить7 years 3 resoles were the most comfortable foot wear I own. I kept them clean and polished to a high shine got tons of comments on them. They are now hurting my left heal and the leather is starting to crack. Time for a new pair! I wore these boots everyday walking 3 to 5 mile on concrete. I will say they hurt like hell until broken in which took two weeks or more. But after they break in they are gold!
ОтветитьWhat kind/color of shoe polish to use of those boots?
ОтветитьI bought a pair of these about when this video came out (unrelated to this video's release, I was never a boot guy) and I currently only own 2 pairs of shoes, these, and a pair of Nike slides I put on to go outside and smoke. The next pair of shoes I want is just another pair of these to only wear when I know I can keep them clean and keep my old ones for walking, hikes and bar excursions and other mischief. I love these shoes.
ОтветитьWouldn't be classed as safety boot in Europe without steel toe cap. En ISO safety standards requires every boot 200-joule toecap protection. From a safety perspective this is literally a sub-standard boot.
Ответитьi have wide feet, and these are perfect with the extra space
ОтветитьI think you could sell the photographs of the half cut boot with arrows pointing. If I own this boot I would want to post a picture of the internal
Ответитьok now I understand why I feel so good in these boots lol
ОтветитьSorry mate but cat steal your show.... :)
ОтветитьI can see why some ppl say they look like clown shoes, lol.
ОтветитьThe movement around that band saw made me uncomfortable
ОтветитьAs far as I know Red Wing is the only U.S. footwear manufacturer who owns their own leather tannery called S.B. Foot Tannery. They are definitely keeping their best hides for their own use. I'm a third-generation shoe repairman and a second-generation Red Wing dealer. This is an almost no compromise ( uses a few high-tech nods like the impregnated mid-layer of the toe box which actually is more serviceable over a long lifetime as is the composite leather mid-layer heel counter) made utility boot that also has enough style to be fashionable. I feel in the six-inch category it is the best widely available (not all independent Red Wing dealers can carry the "heritage" line so it is just a bit more limited) boot in the current market place. I'm old enough to remember when most work boots were made with few compromises and I have to say it's a rarity today. When I was young I remember my father saying Red Wings were made so well he'd take the junk they threw out the back door! These Iron Rangers really keep the old bookmakers art alive. I'm proud to sell these to my most discerning customers who can see even at prices in the current market these stand as a benchmark of what boots can be when made to such high standards thus provide real value.
Ответить100 percent made in America, just look at tounge of boot an there alot of materials that say made in china. Even showed that to red wing representative
ОтветитьI got the iron ranger 8111 and I polished it a couple of times and I thought it would break and hurt my feet a bit less. The color is much darker now and I am wondering what I can do to get the original color back. Thank you!
ОтветитьYour thoughts on Sorel Shoes..
ОтветитьRed Wing makes a better boot than that.
ОтветитьDown Under they go for $500 in Aussie dollars
ОтветитьBulbous is the word you're looking for
