Great idea but I don't think there is room to introduce such a new category of product to the market. When Siri on your iPhone can do the same or even better than this. Whats the point of having one more gadget? This product can't replace your iPhone at all just like you can't watch this tutorial on your AI Pin.

I like the ideas and intention behind this, but I keep thinking about accessibility when watching all the hand and finger gestures. How do people with physical disabilities use this? Also, I understand new technology can have a learning curve, but it's often the ones that best integrate how existing knowledge and behaviours are used that feel most user-friendly and are most quickly adopted. Not all of the gestures seem natural or obvious. I definitely applaud the first attempt, but lots of things to consider for any future models to make it a device that has a competitive chance to scale against everything else that's being developed. Interested to see where it all goes.

This is much better than apple's vision pro in terms of design and feasibility. Yes, it has many areas to improve but a good start.

NOTE: everyone wearing super thick/stiff clothing to hide the fact this device weighs 5 lbs. Also it takes forever to respond and doesn't talk to any other devices or apps.

Why are you showing how the guy with the jacket wear the pin but not for the ones with tshirt? Because it is unconvenient and looks weird to put your arm inside your tshirt to wear the pin.

This video hides too many things unconvenient about the device.

ok the word is out, the question now is, is there enough money and time left to make this thing really work? you really need to fix 2 things, the latency and the price. if at least that does not improve significantly then this things is destined for oblivion. aiming too high with something too weak is a guarantee for epic failure. i sincerely hope you can turn this thing around.

19:3 The way I see Humane Ai future is to work in conjunction with any of our devices such as the laptop, tablet or phone. I want to believe that engineers are foreseeing that taking certain workload from off our phone or other devices and relegating it to a special dedicated device it can be a perfect synergy. Maybe the workload for either the Humane Ai or your phone or tablet is just too much based on the services that we expect to be performed. But if the Humane Ai share the workload between your phone or tablet then all the intensive power and energy requirements would be reduced for the phone and the Humane Ai. The synergy between the two devices (phone ans Humane Ai) will make each service practical and enjoyable. Maybe the additional mic on the Humane Ai will make life easier for the phone and the supplemental camera on the AI pin can facilitate the deficiency of the photos service which is demanded for certain circumstances. 😎💯💪🏿👍🏿

I'm interested to see how this plays out. I believe the first evolution of our cellphone interaction will be a device like the AI Pin that works with your phone. This way you can utilize the strengths of the phone to achieve the intended results of the AI Pin. It will act like an extension of your phone.

I also believe that as AI technology improves we could eventually make the transition away from our cellphones to a stand alone device like the AI Pin, but it is some time away.

I know the AI Pin has Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, so if the stand alone approach doesn't work, I wonder if the device can be reprogrammed to be more like i described initially? A device that works in tandem with your cell phone. This could potentially eliminate the lag, power issues, price point, etc.

Really exciting stuff, Humane. Way to innovate!
