mysql is outdated ,better use mysqli or PDO these tutorials are waste of time.

its not incrementing if we use " $count_inc = $count++;"
can anyone specify why?

I am getting no values in the ip column but still getting an increasing number of values in the ip table. Can someone help with this?

@paulceltics ::1 is the IPv4 equivalent of 127.0.0.1. I used to use xampp and it gave me 127.0.0.1 but switched to MAMP and it says ::1.

I'm confused as to why $ip is used as the function argument; could you not just use $user_ip ?
