With modern medicine, though, she was able to live her life as a normal girl. However, Ciel wasn’t so lucky. No inhalers, no specialized doctors, and no medicine to help. Poor kid.

The thing that makes this scene so sad is the fact that Sebastian just kinda manipulated him into kind of trusting him and at the end of the day ciel wouldn’t even trade Sebastian for his parents and cares for Sebastian while Sebastian doesn’t really care for ciel at all.

i know that this video (and mostly all of the weird comments that i'm addressing) are from like 6-7 years ago but to anyone and everyone who is currently watching this now, this is not supposed to be sexual. to everyone saying/has said that it's okay to sexualize it because it's fiction or straight up ignoring the fact that ciel is a literal child at this point, what is wrong with you? i think that this is an absolutely insane pairing to ship and that it is very uncomfortably disgusting to even use the term "yaoi" to describe this scene (and in general any kind of scene in any anime ever). frankly, this ship should not even exist in the first place. i'm sure a lot of the people who commented those things were probably very young girls who might've not known any better but still. honestly the whole "it's okay because it's fiction!! they're not a real child, what's the harm in sexualizing them?!" is just extremely disturbing to read. scrolling down a little i just saw someone arguing that it's okay to ship them and sexualize them because "it's for their own pleasure and it's not harming a real child so who cares." they also said that because they are also around ciel's age that it's perfectly fine. they then also said "Also I'm not a pedophile or a pedophile apologist. I despise pedophilia in real life and pretty much fiction as well.", which does not make sense to me as sebastian is clearly not a minor while ciel is around 13 years old? i'm not trying to argue with or shame any of these people but to rather question and honestly try to educate and i seriously hope that those kinds of people no longer act like and say things like that anymore.

This ain’t asthma, this is a pure mental breakdown. I mean- he did just go into the place where he nearly lost his life for the second time. It’s a panic attack, and seeing his reaction to everything lines up. He wants the building burned down, he’s not fighting being held like a child. He wants comfort, but the only one who can give it to him is a demon who wants no more than his soul.
