For those of you who are interested, read the bio of his engineer, Bill Porter on Wikipedia. Also, a great interview with Bill by Michael Fremer on the Elvis Australian fan club. Bill talks about his work with EP (including this song), Roy Orbison, etc. Bill was a wonderful soul who was incredibly humble. l think about him daily. I really miss him.

I remember the day he passed I was 10 in 1977 and MILLIONS of women went nutz including my mother she never snapped out of it 😮 till her death in 2000
