Hi AJ, I wanted to let you know that I cleared CFA level 3 this February. I love your content because it is genuine and relevant. I also wanted to point out that the title of your video should have been "The 2023 Level 3 CFA Exam Had the Highest Minimum Passing Score EVER!!" The current title is misleading because one word can change the meaning of the sentence. Could you please rectify the title for the viewers?

so, did you pass the three levels in your first atempt? Im from Mexico and it is really expensive to pay for the exam, so I could not afford more than one attempt and that makes it a one shot opportunity, do you think is possible?

From November to June is 8 months.
3 hours/day, 6 days a week (18hrs/week).
4.25 weeks/month
76.5 hours/month
8 months

612 hours to reasonably prepare for the CFA. That makes sense. People that pass the first exam usually retook the exam, which meant they studied for 600 hours instead of 300.

Seems like this is more of a personal accomplishment that only you & a select few can understand. Remember you did this to prove to yourself that you can do it & that’s all that matters. Just make it count

Hi, sorry that my question might be a bit innocent. I just want to ask for those who have experienced with CFA those 3 levels. I just want to know how many percent that cover with Mathematics as I am no good with it but I want to take CFA exam. So I just want advice from you guys that How hard it is to take CFA exam if I 'm no good with Math.

I passed L1 in May on my first attempt! 38% pass rate and just below the 90th percentile. Really appreciate your videos. It really helped me in choosing to pursue the charter.

I passed Level 1 in 2010 and failed Level 2 in 2011 with Band 9. So, missed it by a few questions. But, after that, I walked away and never pursued the designation. I am in commercial banking and having this achievement means nothing to my employer. Plus, I remember the emptiness after passing the CPA exams and knew that I would experience again only after investing several hundred more hours. I wish anyone else reading this does not experience what I felt, but it is just a piece of paper.

I think a lot of what you said in this video is very true. Hours in is a powerful tool.

If anyone is looking for more first hand experiences with the CFA, I just made a video about why I chose to the CFA and what my journey has been like.

I am glad that I am having the same mindset as you. 146 days left right now before the test. I don’t think I am going to pass the first time, but I think one of the things that people don’t realize is that most people AREN’T meant to pass the first time. I have 6 tries for each exam. The difference between the guy who quits the CFA and the guy who has one is the guy with the CFA shows up 6 months later pass or fail and is ready to go take the next test. That’s exactly why I am taking this exam.

Hi all, I am currently studying towards the L1 exam in May. As I am nearly 40% done with the material, I am wondering how to repeat material alreday visited. I'm using the same approach as mentioned (3h/day, every day). I do all the EOCQ, examples, writing flashcards aso. BUT: In what time periods do you re-visit old stuff? Or like 1 day per week? Or just never until the final 30-40 day? Would be thankful for any reaction.

Hey man, thanks for making this video. I know it has been a year already but congratulations on completing all 3 levels, that's a massive accomplishment. I'm only on my 2nd year BBA Finance and I also wanted to get the CFA once I finished school. I have lots of burning questions I would like to ask from someone who's been there such as yourself. Would it be OK to connect with you, perhaps email? A financial journey advice would be much appreciated. I'm not young either so I'm already mapping out where I wanted to go. And it's seems to be pointing at investment management at the moment. Please let me know, thanks. God bless!

i love how you pointed out that you were consistent with studying 3 hours every day and stuck with your schedule...like you easily could have only studied for an hour and a half and then went out with your friends but you didn't do that...it's great work ethic you got there and congrats!
