Really??? Ku Ring Gai National Park?! Let me tell you, no one would put that in their top 10 things to do in Sydney. Paddington Markets, QVB, Hyde Park, Glebe, Centennial Park, Bronte Beach, Coogee Beach, The Royal National Park, Cronulla, Blue Mountains (since yr not that far away), Balmain, North Head, Watson's Bay, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo - all better places to see!

An unknown is Garden Island access only by ferry. It has the naval museum and cafeteria as well as the old signal station, an 8 ton anchor from an aircraft carrier. I used to hire an 18 foot boat with a small engine from Abbotsford Boatshed and motor off down the river and into the harbour, stop anywhere in the harbour for a picnic and over to Rose Bay for a coffee. You dont need a boat licence. They said they prefer not to pass the bridge but I wasn't listening.
